„Remember your worst nightmare. What if you couldn't wake up?“ Lost in Darkness is a unique and unforgiving survival horror mod in which you will play as an exorcist who finds himself in a mysterious world of darkness. You will constantly experience a lack of resources, fear and great stress when exploring the location and meeting enemies. The fights with the entities here are memorable. Almost every enemy has unique attack patterns, their own tactics and weaknesses. It is very important to be able to fight in close combat, as you need to constantly save ammunition, medicine and other resources. Anomalies and radiation zones may appear in locations, so be careful, use bolts and a gas mask, and adapt to the environment. Each completed level here is a test. Death will be very frequent until you understand the rules of this unknown world. Only faith in God will soften suffering

I cannot get the game to run. When I hit new game it says "could not find autoloaded ACS library..." and a bunch of other stuff like "Unknonwn middle texture", VM execution aborted: tried to read from address zero", Called from actor.Giveinentory at LZdoom...", called from BS_ddashhandler. playerentered at A.L.A.L.N."

What did I do wrong? I'm using LZDoom 3.88b.

Last mss was mine while logged out. Anyhow, like I said, from main menu, when I select new game and difficulty level, I just get the console screen and level doesn't load. If I play it without the first pak file you say in the load order (I can't remember what it's called) the game loads standard Doom II level with modded weapons. But if I try loading that pak file that I assume contains your levels, I get the console screen and no game.

The mod does not currently have its own levels. In the readme I wrote that the first file is an addition to doom 1 that adds content from doom 2. If you play doom 2, then you should not run the first file.

update 2.0 will be big, but there will be no levels yet. At the moment I am developing all the mechanics, monsters, etc., after which I will start developing a total conversion. I plan to make the best horror mod

Было бы гучи, если бы была возможность настроить количество выпадающих и спавнящихся патронов. 1 патрон с дробовика моба и полное отсутствие коробок/сумок с ними на карте превращает мод из хардкорного сурв. хоррора в симулятор загрузки. Бтв, когда ожидать релиз 2.0?

На счёт баланса патронов пока я думаю. И я не знаю как сделать настройку выпадения патронов. Ну и скажу что почти всех врагов можно убить оружием ближнего боя, но это требует опыта. 2.0 выйдет примерно в начале следующего месяца

Также в этом жанре, контролировать спавн различных объектов на уровнях сложно. Максимально точно вымерить баланс, я смогу только при создании своих уровней. А так, играя на рандомных уровнях, патронов может быть как слишком мало, так и слишком много
