This fixed my problem but still don't know why I can't use the other version. Thanks for the great mod!
Run all your mods through direct x7 and un tic all the boxes like force vertical sync, load textures on demand. all of them. even run you game in a window not in full screen. Makes a huge difference'

One of the best ive played. Sad face that I get a runtime error on the load screen of 2.0. If you have a fix for that please post. My PC is brand new MSI with some pretty good stats. Should run this game no problem. In any case keep up the good work...you're an artist.
Try checking off "load textures on demand" in your startup menu options.
Hey, sorry for the late reply (maybe you've even fixed this problem yourself), but you're probably not running the right version of Warband. I had the same problem you're having, and that many people seem to be having, but it fixed when I switched to 1.166. Goodluck.

i cant play but it crashes every 5 or 10 minutes :C
I have a problem, when i enlist in a army and then the screen pop up where it asked "What do you need to do soldier?" all my choices are on a black screen and the screen is messed up.
What is the difference between this and the high res. version?
They are just for slower or faster computers. The high res looks better, that's it.

Question, Cozur: Why is it that Gregor Clegane can be executed? Specifically him? Is it a bad decision to add in the execution option for any captured lord, aside from people screwing up their gameworld by wiping out factions? I don't think that'd take away from the realism, per se.
Its just for the lols. Alot of hateable or famous GoT characters can be killed. There is a quest to kill renly, a quest to kill ramsay Bolton, and you can now execute Gregor Clegane! Its just a cool way to get rid of hateable characters :P
If everyone could be killed, some idiot would kill everyone and then PM me, whining that his game had gotten boring.

good decision but cozur you could just made something like a sub-mod for people that want it. Or if you'll give me permissions I might try to make sub-mod
I'm having a problem where I get an error message every time I create my character and click at the continue part that sends you into the game for the first fight. The game freezes with an error message even when I click load textures on demand and put a ton of other graphic settings on minimum. It's strange because I tried playing the Hi res version before this came out (I think like 1.4) and on minimum settings it would eventually crash but not until I had made my character and tried to go into a large battle. If anyone can tell me how to fix this, pleas help me I've been trying to play this forever! thanks
Does anyone know if any versions work on mac?
The normal version works on my mac, but i do get crashes often for no apparent reason ( sometimes inside a town's menu, before a battle etc. ). Havent tried the low-res version yet, i may give it a go if i dont find a solution for the crashes on the normal version.

I'm wondering if the blade Blackfyre will return; also it would be interesting to throw in some quests concerning the Blackfyres, Darklyns, and other exiled or infamous houses.
