criticize and tell me about them... as well as to your opinions and i'll later on post the pic i did with the marine in a cliff... he is too big and too detailed that i am going to resize...
this is Ignius... your typical pyromaniac and assault marine who goes as far as to using incendiary weaponry as a thing to purge the evil souls and the daemons. A main stay with flamer or plasma... your pick... has a white and burned out coat as a chaplain gave him for his deeds elsewhere. your main companion in close combat and short ranged battles...
GREAT! this is really a good picture,but its little background doesnt fit very well,because he cant be a close-combat marine when he's using a flamer or a plasma pistol,close combat marine must have MELEE weapons and not ranged,so if you have any ideas,you should change it,because he's more like a support marine,when he helps in close combat or other.
sounds for a good character, i'll integrate him into Delta Squad as one of the surviving squad members ^^ (Note: That would be five players + sofar 2 npcs, thinking of making it 5-5. dont forget, the ending will be them boarding a valkrie whilst Khoronus undergoes Exterminatus)
i thought about his melee, so it'll be changed... but his flamer does have a combat knife into the barrel... that way he can attack into melee when needed... and i am currently working on another character... Regius... a close combat one... the last one should be a heavy weapons master... but i haven't gotten there...
Dont get me wrong but... seriously.. combat knife on a flamer will help him fighting chaos in close combat? you cant be serious :D he'll get r*ped in close combat that way,imagine him fighting khrone berzerker with a combat knife :D
Also i wanted to say that flamer+robed marine isnt a good idea,since he'll be in all flames purging the heretics,it is logical he might burn his robe :\ very good example is this: D.imagehost.org I suggest you change the armor variant on this one,and add robe on that close combat guy you are talking about,and dont forget to give him assault pack :D my favourite...
i thought about it and yes... i have seen many do this... the reason being is because the robe grants him protection... being a more durable and flame-proof cloth... and for your info... the combat knife is optional... but it was a way to give him stats into melee... sure it could be changed.. not really caring much in that part... but it just need to have some balance in his firepower and other stats...
