Laevatein Aerofortress image - Echo Productions

By far the largest aerial unit used by the Atlantean Monarchy, the Laevatein Aerofortress is one of the few precious super units. Laevateins fly into the battlefield armed with 4 Ice Cannons and 10 cruise missile launchers on the back, along with a hangar full of Shard Drones capable of launching attacks on aerial and surface targets.

Laevateins are not very durable, but a single one is quite capable of demolishing an entire base by itself using the cruise missile launchers. Each 10-missile salvo can utterly decimate a medium-sized base - though all that firepower may be wasted on smaller bases. Do take note that the cruise missiles are inaccurate and not very powerful against surface targets. The launchers take a long time to reload, so do make sure to escort Laevateins, or they may fall prey to enemy anti-air. The main weakness of Laevateins is that its Ice Cannons can only target ground units in front of it.
