UploadVR reports that Bohemia Interactive, developer of open world military simulator ARMA III and zombie survival game DayZ, is working on a game for virtual reality devices.
First revealed by a job posting on the developer's website, and later confirmed by Bohemia's marketing representative Ota Vrťátko, the position calls for a "Gameplay Programmer to join our development team in the studio's Prague office on an unannounced, original IP, Virtual Reality (VR) title."
According to Vrťátko's communication with UploadVR, more details about the project will be revealed when it's closer to release. However, one snippet of the job listing gives a clue to the VR game's possible genre, as it calls for candidates with "A passion for space and exploration". Given Bohemia's open world experience, we could be looking at a large-scale space exploration game akin to something like Elite: Dangerous and Star Citizen.
