Hey... I just want to congratulate you for such awesome job. Long time since I'm not able to use virtually any firearm 'cause of ironsight positioning being buggy. I believe this really does improve in-game esthetically.
Even felt like re-installing and following smexy gameplay happened, along with another one of your addons (specific gas-mask model):

Perphaps you can keep on creating (even) more custom weaponry or proportionate a deep guide to us?
This is basically GREAT, thanks a bunch whatever your decision be.

The custom weapons technology is ready. The problem is that it requires fresh SEF sources. If you add custom now, the light sticks will not work. Most likely, I will start adding weapons after SEF v7. I hope the author will give us the source files.

I liked this update, especially 'cause of the SIG Sauer P-226 handgun!
I really was missing that one... ;)

By the way, let me add I am a 3D generalist. I will be more than pleased to help you make any modifications you'd want for these weapons.
Personally, I would have done it before but the entire conversion process turns out to be a little complicated for me. The part for editing the models themselves would be no problem anyway. Just felt like making you know!

Try checking the rar file and maybe recompile. I noticed you updated since the Jan 15 comments so I don't think anyone knows the new update is corrupted. I would love to play this but cant!

Hello,

I just tried to download your upload, I tried to extract and got an error saying the file is not valid or corrupted. I noticed you uploaded a newer version before the other comments made here, and maybe your newest one is corrupted.

I tried downloading from other mirror sites and got the same result. I am posting this so you can check the download. I have no issues with other files on this site. And repeated efforts to download this file results in the same corruption. I also using cable so its a fast connection

Hey man, the models are awesome. Obviously the ironsights don't line up though. I see how I am supposed to fix it with the ini values but it's pretty painstaking. Has anyone fixed them all on their game already and could post their values? If there is an easier way of doing it myself instead of tweaking values one at a time and closing and reopening the game a bunch of times I would like to know.

I don't know any other way. I change the value, minimize the client and run .bat, which closes the swat4.exe process > repeat immediately.

Spent five hours on the shotgun sight. I added a hint above to make it easier to understand how to change the value.

Hey, first of all thanks for the effort and the mod. SEF really needed better weapons. I have a question, is it possible that the new guns are also visible on the AI swat officers? because atm they only have vanilla weapons.

It's possible. I haven't tried a third-person model yet, but I don't think there should be a problem with that. When the V7 comes out, I'll start redoing my old work from scratch to reduce errors.

I've had a 3D maker write to me and he wants to start making new models of a matchmaker's weapon. While we wait for the release of SEF V7.

It's not a bug. It takes a whole bunch of time to move ironsight to the center of the screen at one point. I may not be able to achieve this at all, but until we guess and wait for V7 release.

Extraction now works fine - thanks for the new upload bud.
Unfortunately your addon does not change any skins ingame. I thought this is a standalone. But looking at the size of the file (6.15 MB) I guess this is an update, right?!
Would you please be so kind and upload the standalone version of your addon?

Open the Classes/SwatEquipmentModels2.u/MP5_FirstPerson/Display/Mesh file and specify the old MP5 model there.

Hi i keep coming across an error that says general access violation, the way i start the game is clicking launch SEF in the SEF folder and the game starts put when im in the middle of playing a map, this crash occurs (only seems to be custom maps so far)

Hey I was wondering if anyone else has had the problem of after instilation all officer and vanilla gear are missing view models and or textures i installed the files like it said by extracting it into my root folder

I have not seen this. It's strange that your vanilla game textures break. Almost all custom weapon textures use custom utx to prevent players from breaking the game.
