The G36 Pack.
This pack includes high-quality REPLACERS of the G36, adding the classic G36, G36K, G36C and G36L.
All variants can be found the same way as in vanilla, G36 will be the most common, G36K is a bit rarer and G36C is even rarer. Meanwhile, the G36L is only obtainable from Nimble.
The idea of this pack is to make the G36 great, as well as give it as many variants as it can have, for everybody.
Don't like the G36? You can still use the others. Want a G36 that accepts NATO scopes? Use the G36K or G36C. Want a smaller assault rifle that is perfect for urban and close-quarter combat? G36C is your best friend.
Everything goes, for everybody.

- EFT-Style Reposition Patch. Uses EFT-Style position instead of the original vanilla.
- New G36 Scope. Changes the scope to another one that is taken from the 3D Model of the new G36 itself.
- NPC & Trader Files. Adds all the G36 (except G36L) variants to NPCs and Traders. [This is a separate thing to avoid conflicts with other mods]

Model-wise:
* New models of the G36, G36K, G36C and G36L for the vanilla Anomaly's G36, G36 Camo, G36K and G36 Nimble respectively.
* G36 itself is of much higher quality, the holes are no longer opaque, smoothing is much better and the polycount is higher but not severe (about 10.000 tris)
* G36K is the same, uses the classic G36K ironsights, which has Picatinny Rails in it, hence allowing to attach scopes.
* G36C is the smallest version of the G36 pack, using ironsights that the Lithuanian Army would use, which is much slimmer and smaller in size than the original. Also has the ability to attach scopes.
* G36L is the unique variant, only obtainable from Nimble, uses an "L" variant of the handguard and has KAC ironsights. Due to the presence of Picatinny Rails on the handguard, it is able to mount an M203.
Texture-wise:
* All textures at 2048x2048, some lower due to coming as such but still at good quality, without compression artifacts and a proper Normal & Specular map.
* Each model uses separate textures of up to 3; main (receiver), handguard and ironsights. This is admittedly a bit detrimental, but it is made so to keep the texture quality at high and separate between weapon parts.
* The G36L has tritium sights, the rear is less bright than the front to emphasize on the contrast, further making it more practical.
* New icons for each variant, using a method that heavily emphasizes on the specular, hence showing the details when at direct light.
* [OPTIONAL] New scope texture for the G36, made from the 3D model and textured to be 2D.
Balance-wise
* The G36 is now able to use both scopes; the red dot or the 3x scope.
The G36 has been changed a bit to act like a faux-sniper rifle, due to the presence of the 3x scope and the long barrel.
Unlike the original, it is no longer able to have an M203 attached to it, instead, (UPCOMING NEXT UPDATE) it uses its own AG36.
* The "G36 (Camo)" is now a G36K instead, with ironsights, being able to mount scopes.
This one can be used as any other average 5.56 assault rifle.
It has slightly worse accuracy overall and recoil on first shot, but slightly better handling.
* The "G36k" is now a G36C instead, with slimmer ironsights, being able to mount scopes.
This one can be considered the AKSU of the NATO if you'd like.
It has the worst accuracy and recoil of all the other variants, but compensates for amazing handling and better full-auto fire control, great weapon in Close-Quarters Urban warfare.
* Nimble's unique variant of the G36 is a G36L, nicknamed "F34R". Lithuanian-made G36 with the functionality of a G36K and the practicality (weight and handling) of a G36C, as well as having the ability to mount a M203 due to the picatinny rails that it has.
* [OPTIONAL] If using "NPC & Trader Files", NPCs will have a chance to use one of the G36 variants and Traders sell some depending on disposition. More info below.
(PLEASE NOTE! Some other factions might have a G36, either because by default they have it so in Vanilla, like the ecologs, or they took it from another's corpse, like the bandits)
--- Loner. Master & Expert rank, have a chance to spawn all 3. Masters have more chance of attachments.
--- Clear Sky. Experienced, Expert & Master rank, have a chance to spawn 2 or all 3. Masters have more chance of attachments.
--- Freedom. Experienced, Expert & Master rank, have a chance to spawn all 3. Expert & Master have more chance of attachments.
--- Mercenary. All ranks have a chance to spawn 2 or all 3. Expert & Master have more chance of attachments.
--- Monolith. All ranks have a chance to spawn 1, 2 or all 3. Expert & Master have more chance of attachments.

For traders
- Loners can acquire from Owl, Sidorovich or Loris. Owl offers all at Rep 2, Sidorovich at 3, 4 and 5, Loris has a small chance at Rep 4.
- Clear Sky can acquire all from Spore at Rep 5. The chance is low though.
- Freedom can acquire all from Rep 2.
- Mercenary can acquire default on Rep 2, all after Rep 3.
- Monolith can acquire default on Rep 1, two variants on Rep 2 and all on Rep 3.
- UNISG can acquire all from Rep 2.

F.A.Q.
"Will there be 'compatibility patches' with [ADD MOD HERE]?"
No, but I do accept user-made patches, as long as they are good and stable.
"How can I acquire one of the guns?"
Do note that this is actually a REPLACER, so if you have found a G36K in the game, it will be a G36C. G36 (camo) is the G36K.
Knowing that, just find it on traders or take it from enemies that use the G36. Mercenaries, Freedom & Monolith are the factions that use the G36 variants most.
Nimble himself has the Custom G36L variant.
"Is a new game needed?"
Not at all, though you can't uninstall the mod due to "new objects" added.
Check the next comment if you're keen on uninstalling and using it on a premade save already.
"Is it BaS compatible?"
No, make a compatibility patch yourself.
"Can this mod work in other STALKER mods/games?"
Most surely, yes, but you'll have to do some merging and the like.
"Will with work with Ken's Enhanced Shaders?"
Yes, it's also recommended (with PBR) since it makes the gun have a much better specular, on par with the preview image, but this is subjective.

ANIMATION BUG:
If you by any chance have this bug where when you reload the gun it is no longer available, you may have conflicting or old animations, if so, refer to this little guide to fix it:
Go to gamedata/meshes/anomaly_weapons/hud_animation
Check to see that "wpn_g36_new_hud" and "wpn_g36k_hud_animation" are there.
If you see any other that has g36, delete those.
Then go back one time and get to "hud_hands_animation".
In there, check that there is "wpn_hand_g36l".
If you see any other that have G36, remove them.

Great job, but it would be great to make a patch for hand position like cement or EFT
Anyone else getting a crash when trying to fit an EOTech sight to the G36L? The other scopes attach to it and work fine, but I consistently get a data->find_chunk(OGF_VERTICIES) xr\Render\SkeletonX.cpp crash.
I found a few problems using this addon. First, all variations of the presented weapons have a 2D optical sight G36 as an alternative. Secondly, holographic sights have the same zoom factor as optical sights. and third, setting the sights on the G36L causes the game to crash.
I fixed the first two problems myself (if necessary, I can share the ltx file).
Otherwise, I really like the addon, it brings variety and the game becomes more interesting. I will follow the updates :3
I tried to replicate the issues but it was not possible.
The only explanation is that you have a mod that somehow conflicts with this or a bad config/install.
If you play with Debug Mode, chances are you tried HUD Editor and that thing overrides the Alt-Aim function of the guns.

on the F34R, using the grenade launcher and attempting to ads will cause the weapon to go way off to the left hand side of the screen and makes it so you cant use the ladder sight for aiming the grenades.

Sadly the crash log doesn't indicate anything informative.
I have no idea why you'd crash there, it could be that since this new G36 needs a bit more PC power than before, yours doesn't reach it. As long as your PC is a mid-grade, even laptop, it should be fine though.
Of course, it also could be that it spawned a STALKER or trader with a G36, but broken...I'm not sure, Duty shouldn't spawn with G36s.

I had a g36k (a vanilla one) that was fully upgraded.
Interesting, I don't think that should cause you issues because the upgrades for the G36s were not changed as of yet.
You might wanna try getting that Vanilla G36K out and removing it, via the debug menu, then reinstall the G36 Pack, see if it works.

i seem to have the same problem as you do (a fully upgraded G36 (Camo) in Yanov Station. Now, i never used the debug menu so how do i delete my own g36 in my own stash?

Uninstall the G36 pack, go to Yanov station, find your stash, get that G36 (Camo) out into the open.
Aim at it, press F7, see to the top-left that it indeed says "wpn_g36_camo" or some such, and just press Delete from the middle-right.
Then reinstall The G36 Pack and see if it works.
i dont know for sure as my modding knowledge of this game is limited, but im wondering if maybe the weapon name and extra data is save baked, so editing the weapon is causing crashes?
I vaguely remember BaS had issues with updates/changes to existing guns causing crashes, so maybe they have some insight as to why its happening.

On another note, this seems to be the first time an add-on causes an upgraded weapon to make a fatal error for some reason. I've used your SVD and Saiga 12k replacer and it worked like a charm, and i've got both upgraded.

little tip: you can use the debug menu to spawn another rifle then you can use the "pocket workshop" option in the menu to fully mod the weapon back to how you had it for free.
Oh wow, i never knew a feature like that exists in debug mode. I straight up just paid a technician to upgrade it to the max and use the debug mode to spawn enough money to reimburse the upgrades.

Considering that I didn't change how magazines ammo work in the G36 Pack, it's safe to assume it's compatible by default.
I found a problem using this addon, each weapon from this modification is not displayed in the hands after pressing the reload button and in the future it cannot be used, this problem appears after installing the patch for EFT weapon re-position
That means you have a missing animation or it's broken, but you shouldn't be having that issue.
Here's what you should do, go to gamedata/meshes/anomaly_weapons/hud_animation
Check to see that "wpn_g36_new_hud" and "wpn_g36k_hud_animation" are there. Also, if you see any other that has g36, delete those.
Then go back one time and get to "hud_hands_animation", in there, check that there is "wpn_hand_g36l". If you see any other that have G36, remove them.

Only 5.56, and the upgrade schemes have not changed.
Although we do plan to change them, but right now we don't know how.

This question is pretty stupid, but can you tell me more about the G36L? Never heard or seen it in media platforms before.

By that I mean that your question is actually very good :)
It's actually a "custom" variant, not something you'd see in real life often, but it can be made due to the G36's versatile modular nature.
It's inspired by the Lithuanian version of the G36, which is actually called G36KA4M1, not G36L, the major change on that one is the handguard and ironsights.
In this mod, The L just stands for "Light" or "Lithuanian" because of the new lore we've made.
But other than that, it is simply a G36 that uses KAC ironsights and Lithuanian/G36KA4 handguard.
Does new game required?
No.
Works great, models and animations are on point. I love being able to use both scopes of the G36 and I really missed having the G36C.
Would it be possible to make the Barska red dot into a reflex sight, like it is on the rest of the guns in 1.5.1? Right now it's basically "white dot painted on a piece of glass". EOTech works properly already, but I have zero clue about weapon modelling, so I don't know how hard that is to implement into different scopes.
