THE SWIFT MOD FOR 'QUAKE 4'
Have you ever felt like the shootouts in 'Quake 4' dragged on a little too long by standard despite the damage? I try to address this possible issue with a simple tweak: health of each opponent was lowered by 20% but simultaneously, the ammo obtainable from ammo pickups (singleplayer only) was lowered by 40% to offset some of the difficulty downgrade. Apart from that, the pre-transformation protagonist movement speed was increased by 25% to mitigate the terrible drag impression also in said regard.
In the end, this collection of changes should hopefully make the game a bit more nimble to play. The mod was not really playtested sufficiently although theoretically speaking it should do.
