Restores the scrapped Space Kamino Campaign mission.
This mod will add Space Kamino to Instant Action. It's currently only available in Campaign mode, but I may add Assault mode and 1-Flag CTF in the future. This mod requires the unofficial v1.3 patch to be installed.
Space Kamino is a scrapped campaign mission that would have taken place after Mustafar and before Kamino, as one would expect. It was scrapped by June 24th, 2005 for unknown reasons. It's pretty similar to the Space Yavin campaign mission, as is the layout of the capital ships, so perhaps that has something to do with it. The files for the map can be found in every version of the game, but the Imperial hangar is misplaced and the Venator is incomplete. The mission script is only found in the PS2 Online Beta, however, and the voice overs are seemingly only present in the PS2 version.

The whole time I've played this game I had never heard of nor seen mention of a scrapped mission from the game that was so close to completion. I would agree that one possible explanation as to why this mission was scrapped was because it would be too similar to the space Yavin mission later in the game. Also because it doesn't serve much of a purpose and is rather short.
IIRC the assets to that scrapped Kamino mission were used to build up Space Yavin mission, it would explain why it's quite similar
But still, looks great.

Yes, I am currently in the process of updating it. Updates will include complete interiors, balance changes, additional game modes, bug fixes, and several changes to make the mission more consistent with other campaign missions.

Yeah i can kinda see why this one was scrapped. It's pretty repetitive. "Destroy frigates, kill the engines, shoot the bridge"
Yeah, it's nothing too special, but it's a pretty neat piece of history at least.

How Much longer is the next release. And will the assets ever be release to add more custom units like slave 1.
Or use this space map in conjunction with Harrsion fogs Space remaster maps.
Because that would be real cool!

So, does it actually take place during Campaign, or is it only playable in Instant Action? Can you play it in IA without the objective pop-ups?
