This addon will fix the behavior of NPCs when they don't see a hidden sniper.
Testing the Ghillie Suit Overhaul, I found an unpleasant feature in the behavior of NPCs, when they do not see the shooter, they get into the animation of looking around and even after receiving a bullet continue to play it.
To correct this misunderstanding, I changed/deleted the lines associated with this animation(threat_danger) and removed the auto-guidance of the gaze towards the player. As a result, now, if the NPC does not see the shooter, he will be constantly on the move and inspect the area around him.
Will conflict with other addons that contain xr_danger.script
There is a patch for Fixed xr_danger 0.3 in the archive, but these fixes don't work very well together. The NPC will quickly forget that it was attacked if it does not see the attacker. You can fix this by adding an extra zero to attacked in xr_danger.ltx
It works without additional addons, but Stealth or Ghillie Suit Overhaul can be a great addition.
*If you use Ghillie Suit Overhaul, I recommend setting the range to 80, and FOV to 100 in the MCM settings.

if they move at the same time, then this is normal, a kind of way not to catch a bullet
I've witnessed this as well, tested it on a group of military in the train hanger that I sniped from outside. They all just sort of glitched out as if their pathing was broken probably because there wasn't a lot of places for them to move too. I guess there is a lot of limitations with the engine so can't expect too much, at least they were harder to hit lol.

Tested many times. Yes, they are jerking in one place, but at this time they are trying to find the shooter, and after a while they either find him and start shooting, or run for cover and sit out
In my opinion, this is normal behavior, in any case, they do not stand still waiting for death :D
Glad you were able to test it and get some conclusive results. I think it's something that will only occur in very specific locations where it is more difficult for the enemy to path appropriately, it's minor and still better than having them just stand there waiting to catch a bullet.
Yeah, it's very weird and unrealistic, but honestly - it is way better than them standing around wiggling their head like they just wait for them to die. Nice mod, albeit a bit janky :P
may be best that they just run for cover, skipping the having a seizure part ;)
mod works on EFP 4.0 but they kind of run very jerky

This makes sniper gameplay more satifying, npcs are jerking around instead of becoming lamps humbly waiting for slaughter standing still while their mates get domed.
A must with Ghillie overhaul.

These are completely different mods.
Fixed xr_danger fixes the reaction of NPCs to actions, for example, shots in their direction. Without it, they will ignore them.
Search logic removes the "search" animation in which they stand still, forcing the NPC to actually search for the target. Relevant if you often stealth
To use it together, I added a patch to the archive
This is really nice, the way they shuffle around might seem a bit off-putting, but it´s so much better than them standing around like morons. I use the patched version in combo with the xr_danger mod and it certainly is an improvement.
