Scars of Ulysses: Erusean Tomcats addon

The Erusean Navy acquired Tomcats and several surplus Osean aircraft carriers during the brief detente with the West that followed General Bruun's rise to power. With its aircrews taught by ex-OMDF instructors, Erusea adopted marking conventions, tactics, and customs from Osea. One squadron of twelve airframes each was established for each carrier.

VF-21 Firebirds were assigned to the FES Frigga (CVN-01, Aesir Fleet) and mostly stayed out of the Continental War, with their area of responsibility limited to the North Atlantic. During the Delarussian Secession Crisis their F-14D(R)s took some losses to FCUAF forces. (bonus points to whoever figures out where the tail art came from)

VF-22 Roadrunners were assigned to the FES Geofon (CV-16, Aegir Fleet/Ex-OFS Starling) and were entirely wiped out at the Second Battle of Comberth. They were never reestablished after the war.

VF-23 Ghostriders were assigned to the FES Freyja (CV-17, Vanir Fleet/Ex-OFS Shrike) and led by Captain Barry Wood, an Osean instructor who became an Erusean citizen and was granted a commission. They fought at the First Battle of Comberth and were commended for their success at the Battle of Tyler Island. Most of VF-23 survived the Freyja's sinking in the 2007 coup attempt and were reassigned to its replacement, the FES Ran (CVN-02), with their airframes upgraded to F-14D(R)s.
