A quality of life update to Tweaki_Breeki's venerable RF receiver hidden package sidequests mod.
v1.01F
After running into a bug involving a package that somehow got deleted, and finding that Tweaki_Breeki had since moved away from the STALKER anomaly modding scene, I decided to create an update for his much loved RF receiver hidden package sidequests mod. Everything listed as being operational on that page applies to this mod too.
This is a patch, so you will need to install the original mod, then install this over it or load it later in the load order if using a mod manager. if you are using Coverdrake's [MCM] Reworked RF receiver you will want to install this over that or load this mod later in the load order than that.
This mod can be freely loaded on a currently running save even if you had an older version of TB's original RF package mod installed prior.
This quality of life update includes:
A failsafe for the afore mentioned package deletion bug. This bug can potentially render areas inaccessible, and with the amount of mods people cram into anomaly this is almost impossible to permanently fix. As a result I chose to simply have the mod spawn a new package at new coordinates within the same area.
A right click menu option for player PDA's that allows you to cancel the current package, moving onto the next package that has been queued up.
Options for Auto-unpacking on package collection, Reminder frequency options and options of getting items from Arti's streamlined upgrades (in Arti's Addon Anthology) if you have that mod. These options can be changed via MCM or by editing the listed defaults within the main TB_RF_Receiver_Packages script.
Finally, an entry into the notes section of the PDA encyclopedia explaining the mechanics of packages and the features of the QoL update.
I have plans to do a complete rework the reward system which will have scaling rewards more akin to stash contents but instead more angled towards crafting items and supplies, like what would be an actual useful gift to an active STALKER.
Obviously much credit goes to Tweaki_Breeki and the other contributors to the original mod. This mod is still majority their work by a significant amount, and I and my contributors are but standing on the shoulders of giants here.
V1.01F : added a copy of Demonized's custom functor autoinject script that i forgot to include for vanilla compatibility

nice
Hi. Thanks for this great update for great mod.
Could you please make a patch for [1.5.1/1.5.2] [MCM] Reworked RF Receiver v1.4
I can see that many changes/features are included in your mod, but sadly not all.
The only one file is conflicting: TB_RF_Receiver_Packages.script
Thank you.
The script file in this mod already contains the changes that are contained within the file supplied in that one, so it is compatible.
You can, and indeed are required to overwrite the file in Coverdrake's mod with the file in this one for full functionality if not using a mod manager. (however coverdrake's rework is not required for this mod to function)
Hi. Thanks for a reply. Yes, i can see that a code from [1.5.1/1.5.2] [MCM] Reworked RF Receiver v1.4 is included in your mod. But there are some parts of code that not included in your mod.
Will both mods mods work fine if your mod owerite (so some lines of code won't be there any more)?
load order:
Original RF Receiver mod
Reworked RF Receiver v1.4
Your mod
Thanks
yup!
Thanks that is awesome!
I'm getting this upon loading a save : tb_rf_receiver_packages.script:1446: attempt to index global 'custom_functor_autoinject' (a nil value)
ah, whoops, forgot about that. should be fixed now if you redownload as i simply forgot to include a tool script.
thank you :)
Nice ! Gonna take that mod for sure, thanks !
I'm not sure how to access to "right click menu" on the PDA, could you explain me where to do it when im on the PDA ? Thanks
simply right click the PDA in your inventory
Ah in the inventory ok ! Didnt think of that, was trying with the PDA in hands and right clicking in every tab xD.
Thanks ;)
is there a way i can make the stash rewards to be actually in the location you are? instead on another map?
aside from opening up the script files and coding that yourself, no.
and doing so without introducing crashes is a little more complicated than i'm willing to figure out and walk you through in a comments section.

Does this patch make it any more compatible with 1.5.2?
should be compatible by default?
Are you still planning things about the mod ? Packages are sometimes a bit frustrating to search lol But itβs a very fun and interesting feature, which could be greatly expended upon ! Iβm sad it wasnβt =(
For example, the idea Tweaki_Breeki was considering about timed packages !
In my game I reworded the PDA messages as if drops were for everybody to find, I think it makes more sense, and to feel less like a special character, but for now itβs just flavor tho ^^
Thanks much for the update !
Reading issues some players had on original mod, Iβm glad I had none !
