I can hardly believe that some people gave you a bad rating for this map...
I think it's not a ten, because I think, that theres no ultimate level! Your Idea is nice, and it looks good but I don't think that the gameplay is so good... btw I gave you a 8, thats a good rating!!
ahm..well i work hard to make it a good gameplay map as well so i dont think you are right about this and some people gave it a 1 or 2 cus its the only way to get the rating down so much :(

I've always wanted to create Isla Nublar from Jurassic Park, but I've been missing the Dinosaurs. Perhaps I can use yours?

4ev3r, as I said in the WIP forum, the votes do not count to your chance of winning. If judges looked at popularity of maps, I believe it would be very unfair, since older maps are some of the best maps, but didn't get as much popularity since it was only early competition.
Believe me, we've all got the same bs with people voting 1's and 2's just so that our scores are lowered to something that really doesn't make the maps look good if anybody downloads a map based on the vote score.

Yeah, it is a bit degrading at first when you've put hours and hours into a map and get great scores then some idiots come along and go vote 1 happy on you :P
You'll come to accept that even if your map has a score of 1 or 2, it is still one of the more creative maps on here, and the majority of members here know that as well as the judges.

I've also tried to make animals out of rocks but none of theme are close to this,man this is awsome
I think I'll rather build my own dinosaurs anyway if I'm gonna create Isla Nublar. But it wouldn't be made for this competition, just to have something fun to play. I'm a Jurassic Park fan hehe.

I'm gonna boost my vote on this map to put those 1 voters in their place and show them that the vote doesn't count, 10/10 from me!...aaaw it only brought it up by a small amount :(

I gave it an 8, I almost feel bad now. :p In all seriousness, the votes of 1 are most likely based on the same principle you go by when you give out 10s to boost scores. Either that or people just like to bring others down out of some odd sense of entitlement, and bitterness. 7.8 is not a bad score anyway, people don't seem to understand that a map that is actually worth an 8 is a pretty rare thing even in commercial game maps.
