Complete overhaul of the Assault Shotgun from Platinum Addon!
(Formerly known as Dox778's Assault Shotgun Redone)
Update 1.3:

Yes I am still alive, dealing with a ton of real life problems. (As I already said somewhere in the comments)
And since everybody keeps reporting problems with platinum or BD: This.addon.is.not.intended.to.work.with.platinum. It.also.doesnt.work.with.BD.alone. I made it with Dox's Personalized Addon in mind. That means you need Dox's Addon NOT PLATINUM
I didnt know about Platinum when creating it. I think it also didnt exist back then.
Feel free to port it to Platinum!

So...last but definitely not least, since this was the hardest addon Ive done until now: The Assault Shotgun
In Summary: I took the ASG from PB 3.0 and ported it into Dox's Addon. Some sprites werent edited at all, some were a bit, and some others heavily.
The special action has been completely replaced: Does someone remember XV117's outstanding Enhanced Weapons Mutator? Remember the ASG's devastating Frag Shells? Guess what I also ported into this mod. Had to nerf it since it obliterated everything in its way.
I also put in very much attention into the "mechanical realism" of the gun. Y'know, things like different animations when either switching ammo with an empty mag or after you already unloaded.
Please credit me as well besides PB-Team & XV117, should you implement this addon into a collection/overhaul

Compatible with BD Platinum v1.1?
I really don't like the ASG in BD Platinum cause of it's ****** alternative plasma shells that go only a few meters like pathetic *******, but this addon's frag rounds seem like a huge upgrade.

Sometime maybe, I got other priorities now: tweak my already existing addons, remade/edited sprites addon, real life stuff etc.
But should I do the SMG I'd also probably replace it with the one from PB 3.0

I love this weapon replacement. It is awesome and the frag shell shot is awesome for some more punch to the crowd control.
Thank you for doing the add-on! I initially started this as a sort of request to make one and you done it! Now I DO like the LitDoom style sprites, but the two issues I have with this is that it doesn't aim and the plasma shells are WAY too weak to kill tougher demons. You solved this giving it the PB 3.0 sprites which are so cool, giving it ACUTAL aiming and switch the Plasma Shells to Flak Shells like its PB alt-fire. I'm so grateful for this and will definitely try this out now! Again, thank you.
I have been playing with this add-on for a while now and it's awesome to use. Everything seems to be in order but do you mind if I suggest a couple of things?
Like, for starters, the crosshair should disappear when aiming down sight.
And the frag rounds are powerful but gives no incentive to use the buckshot rounds. Perhaps making frag rounds consume 2 shells per reload from the ammo reserve, like how Dox's Desert Eagle addon consumes 3 pistol caliber bullets from reserve per 1 round in the magazine.

NOT COOL!!!! This is content exclusive to an in progress PB update and is NOT to be reposted. Credit or no these assets are not to be shared anywhere outside of the PB Master build. You've already come up in the dev discord, and I hope you take this down before Pa1n gets wind. We're trying to keep this stuff under wraps, and moddb doesn't take kindly to lifted assets.

IF you shoot in ADS while using frag rounds the ejected shells are just buckshot instead of frag shells. other than that i love this
This is great but the animation when you put it away/switch weapons just doesn’t match your Arsenal in BD Platinum. Not sure if that’s something you would want to fix or not but other than that it works good.

it was platinum BD until i saw the very top comment about platinum 1.1 and the addon working with that version of platinum BD.
Brutal doom platinum is the new dox edition cuz dox himself changed the name so brutal doom dox edition and the platinum edition are same
so would one day be able to port the DMR from project brutality to brutal doom and with the upgrade to sniper because I've seen them carry only the sniper to brutal doom now the dmr is really missing

Stopped doing v21 gun addons long ago
One of the frames while reloading is filtered, looks weird while reloading. Also, it seems to break the shotgun glass slug case script so they don't eject if you aren't using it with the Shotgun Redone addon.
