Disables the very long and unskippable intro title sequence, unlocks the developer debug menu, and unlocks a map selector that was used to give press demos.
Installation
- Navigate into ..\Steam\steamapps\common\deus ex - human revolution\ (finding these folders depend on where you have Steam installed) and make a backup of patch0.000 though you can have Steam redownload it by doing verify integrity if you want the original file back.
- Unpack the download into the same folder, so you'll have a "new", modded patch0.000 file. If you don't need a backup, over-write the existing file.
- Play!

HOLY CRAP I WAS TOTALLY BLOWN OUT BY THAT MAP SELECTOR. Nice job.
Cool map selector and awesome debug menu. Thank you. =)
Great upload, thanks man. For anyone downloading this, click on "read more" in the description for how to install, as the file is not an executable.
What's the debug menu for? Is that kind of like a console with commands?
Yeah. But instead of typing commands,it tells you what does what and you either set it to false or true.My only gripe with it is that the Debug Menu is difficult to set options but it's only a minor gripe with the menu itself.
Seems that the game's second patch overrides this mod. It no longer has any effect.
damn, I was wondering why it wasn't working for me... thanks
For anybody wondering, there is an update for this on the Eidos thread that is linked in the extended details of this page.
Nice !
Works perfect & the Map Selector is very useful.
But it only shows controller-buttons in it - so what are the keyboard buttons L, A and B ?
love it, but i am concerned, is this stuff allowed?
i mean custom mods would be cool
Hah, that's a map of New York.
Can u make a Debug menu for The Missing Link too?
