Just a thing I noticed:
Regular options like population and sell/buy values are missing from the menu,
Aaand the new game button doesn't work, is there a specific reason for this?
Doesn't it bother you that you're the first person to notice this in the three months since it was published?
Of course, there is a specific reason and it is on your side.
All of the above works correctly with all versions including release 1.5.1
Any ideea as to why I'm not hearing any "crackle of a fire and the sound of rain" in my menu ?
It's hard to say - it's your menu, and I don't know what you did with it.
There can be any number of reasons. Well, for example:
1. In the game settings, the music level is set to 0.
2. You did not transfer the sound file of the mod to your game.
3. The files from gamedata \ configs\ui of the mod conflict with the same files of other addons in your collection.
4. The file "_anomaly_ilya_ponomarenko_day_one" from gamedata\sounds\music mod conflicts with the same file of other addons in your collection.
It was case "1." and I feel so awkward now :]

Jesus this is some serious high quality work. Why didn't i notice this before. Best menu mod ever.
Very good stuff, though could I recommend a dark background (semi transparent even) behind the text on Menu 1? It's a personal gripe but I get bothered by white text on bright background with little contrast. Otherwise no issues.
This is the best menu addon so far. Btw, do u have plans to make a patch for MCM? This addon has some conflict with it.
Perhaps, if you explain to me what MСM is...

Would love a patch for MCM considering that MCM has the potential to be used by near every addon maker for ease of use. I'd love to use this but possibly not until then. This does look great,

Wow! Great menu mod by far. Unfortunately, its incompatible with MCM since MCM adds a new menu section. I guess a workaround would be to just change what settings you want on MCM then uninstall it to have these backgrounds.
uhh, i installed mcm and then this menu, opened the ui_mm_main_16.xml and added this line to every menu option:
<btn name="btn_mcm" caption="ui_mm_menu_mcm" />
i entered the game and everything works fine with mcm
