Adds six missing HUD icons while under effects of medical items
[Now compatible with HUD Icon Timers!]
Vanilla Anomaly - and seemingly also all of its repacks too - forgets that physical protection buffs are a thing and does not show their icons on the HUD. This mod remedies that, and includes an extra fix for anyone using modded consumable items granting thermal or electrical protection bonus. Has potentially an unintended effect of cluttering the UI if stacking multiple kinds of buffs at once.
Icons were pieced together by me from existing assets, attempting to maintain vanilla feel to the best of my non-graphic designer ability:
- Body armour - ballistic protection (fire_wound)
- Brick wall - scratch protection (wound)
- Explosion - explosive protection, duh (explosive)
- Shockwave - impact protection (strike)
- Flame - thermal protection (burn)
- Lightning - electric protection (shock)
Should work with everything now as I swapped direct edit into a script hook. Will work with GAMMA and EFP.
Has a compatibility option with Alternative Icons by Strogglet15. Refer to the readme file inside.
No longer conflicts with xcvb's HUD Icon Timers.
For manual patching, copy lines 251~256 into function prepare_indictors_list() and check if indexes are not overlapping with another edit. Manual patching is no longer necessary.
Do whatever you want with it, just please leave a credit.
If anyone wants to make better icons for this, please contact me and I'll include them in the archive.

Hello friend, I'm very interested in adding these effects to my custom medicine mod, and of course, use this mod to see the effects when they activate. Could you please write in this comment the lines that add these new benefits to the consumables? So I can customize my consumables even more.
eg: boost_telepat_protection for PSI protection

hello friend, this is great! I was able to add these effects to the purified mutant meats! thank you so much!. But I'm afraid I have a problem now, I'm using DX9 and I think that's why the icons are cut off on the HUD, I was also using the black and white version of this mod Moddb.com and the icons did not appear, but when I remove it from my list they appear cut off, could you make a version compatible with this mod? or maybe add your own version of hud icons or just fix them so they don't appear clipped! Sorry for the inconvenience friend but I think the version of this mod for Alternative Icons by Strogglet15 is incompatible with the HUD icons time mod and unfortunately I don't think the other guy make support Alternative Icons mod
If you're using a mod manager, make sure the load order is:
1. HUD Icon Timers
2. Alternative Icons (if using it)
3. More Booster HUD Icons
Yes, I am using it, and I have them ordered that way, but I don't see any conflict between them. and even so the timer dont appears, it only appears in the vanilla version
