I noticed how there wasn't any phased plasma rifles around here, so i decided to use the M2 plasma rifle, change up the sprite a bit, and start using that as the sprites for the M2 Plasma rifle
Weapon looks virtually identical to the M2 plasma rifle at first glance.... but there are quite a few tweaks, as well as a rework of how it functions.
Updates:
Now has another, more specialized high power mode when using the DualWield Button, allowing for different fire rates with this new version of the primary and alternate fire. All four fire functions have projectiles that behave rather differently from each other in terms of how damage is dealt.
Below are the listed effects of each fire mode.
More frames in each animation! Plus different firing animations now with new muzzle flashes.
Added in an unload sequence!
Added in custom M2 ejected casings
Default Mode:
- Fire:
- Strong plasma bolts that have a minor AOE plasma explosion upon impact; good for most occasions
- Altfire:
- Rapid fire with a widened spread with less impact damage but wider area of effect per projectile; good for slaughter map
Mode 2:
- Fire:
- Fastest rapid fire with greatest impact damage and no area of effect; best used for focusing on bosses
- Altfire:
- Uses five times the normal ammo for a special projectile that rips through enemies (except some bosses) and melts enemies as it passes by them. Once it lands somewhere it will linger and burn enemies next to it. Best used for bosses or a slaughtermap-esque enemy level

Cool mod mate I really like the sound and look of this weapon but I had an issue with it where once I pick it up and the pick up the rail gun I cannot switch from the rail gun hope that makes sense I did a YouTube video of the issue I'm having Youtu.be

I just updated the description; you can now see what each mode's primary and alternate fire does. unfortunately I do not know how to do special effects well enough to convey the effects very well, so this is the least I can do.

nah. Too many sprites and this one has a greater degree of customization.
I do like a higher versatility of firing modes.

Unsure; i believe that has a fundamentally different system that I'm not exactly willing to work with as of the moment.
Ok, it seems to be compatible with Platinum 3.0
Love this gun, but is it only available through the console? It's not randomly replacing any of the Plasma Rifles I pick up. I only ever see the Rail Gun.
It may need some tweaking or it's incredibly rare.
