Description:
-Real speed of actors.
-Adjusted the high of camera at different position: more kneeling, normal kneeling and standing.
-Running is more tiring.
-Actor better precision without aim (similar to a fps).
-Pick-up radius disabled.
-Changed npcs vision parameters.
-Multiplied ammo damage: now game is more fluid during action (to kill is more easy).
-Ammo cost is decreased and reasonable (Hardcore Economy is compatible).
-Death cry sound not will be heard by npcs.
-You can go through the bushes without alarms.
-Time is less fast then before.
-A-life 1000mt than 150.
-No Minimap by Henry1491.
NB:
If you use Extra Hardcore Survival v.1.00 mod, go to "Hardcore survival" of extra and copy/paste config in gamedata.

-Ammo cost increased. Now is the middle of default. This to compensate major damage.

Hey there..there are some pretty nice changes. Would it be possible to add a mod version of this where only this things are included?

Thanks! Btw., is it possible to make enemy NPCs not being able to see throw bushes? That would be a good improvement for overall gameplay and balancing.
Plaing with my mod npcs see you trough ambush? or is it a simple question?
Because the param is "transparency_threshold" and i change it on high level (0.9 for fee vision and 0.8 for danger vision), so when i tested it worked. npcs did not see me.
I ment «through bushes», a little spelling error there. :) OK, I will try that, When fighting military in Darkscape for instance, they shoot at me from far away with great precision, while being able to see through bushes and trees/leaves, ie. they can see me, while they are invisible to me. This makes them nearly invincible.

Hey Marchiato97 I have a quick question for you, or really anyone that knows more about modding than I do haha. Is there a way to install your mod through the LA launcher rather than manually replacing the files? I'm excited to try out your mod out!

Unfortunately my modding is very simple and basic.
However, if your anxiety is the uninstallation question, it is easy.
For installation, copy/paste gamedata in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Lost Alpha DC directory (the only thing that is overwritten is "gamedata", but but nothing else inside).
For uninstallation, go to gamedata and delete "config" and "sound". Easy.

Wow, I tried this mod, hoping to find something that would give me access to weapons and ammo ltx files.
It initially loaded successfully with "Start new game", but took a *loooong* time to load (more than 2 minutes). Then resolution was wrong (my screen is 2560x1600), so I tried changing resolution; that worked, but again it blanked the screen for a couple of minutes before giving me the screen back. After that, I tried to change graphics quality from Medium to High (I have a GTX 980 card) - this blanked the screen and just hung.
Here is the tail end of the xray_ascender.log file; there were *many* sections of "Engine is freezed, saving log" messages, this is just the last few:

Interesting... yes, that seems to work...
It took several tries; when I first ran with your mod included, "launch game from last save" was disabled, which is why I initially chose "start new game". This time I chose "Launch Game", which loaded the last save (I've actually been playing without your mod for awhile now).
Anyway, that worked, but loaded as 1280x720; however, now I can change resolution and quality settings with no problem, and they change quickly. Also, once I saved with your mod and the restarted, everything works fine!!

This begs a question, though... what happens if I want to start a new game someday?? do I need to re-install without your mod, play a little, save, then install your mod, so I can initially load a game without it??
It's a strange question, but i have to do a similar things...
I do not know the reasons, however there are "numerical" changes only about ammo and actor...
You try and when work enjoy. Remember that this small mod not require a new game.

Utility are tools helpful for "basic" modding. Nothing else.
If you would like hard economy, select this mod from mods luncher (it's compatible). If you want the LA vanilla prices, you have to open every file into gamedata\config\weapons\ammo and modify cost param: you will see the original cost separate by ";"

so the more damage is realistic damage ? so if copy just "more damage" files I will get only more damage do npcs ? because I just want realistic damage
normal version is already "realistic"; more damage version means simply more damage than base/normal version
ok :) I realized that showing items when holding use is disabled how can I bring it back? also I saw update in the PRM weapon pack is your addon working with this? thanks

Great patch! It's seriously improved my LA experience. But I'd like to have the original stamina levels back so I can sprint more. How would I do that?

disp_vel_factor = 2.0 increases dispersion when run
disp_accel_factor = 2.0 increases when run fast
disp_crouch_factor = -0.2 decrease of dipersion when crouch
disp_crouch_no_acc_factor = -0.4 decrease of dispersion when low crouch
2)npc vision (m_stalker)
min_view_distance = 0.4 proportional to eye_range
max_view_distance = 0.8 same, but for max vision range
visibility_threshold = 110.0 a sort of "life bar" but for vision. when it is full, npc see you
always_visible_distance = 0.1 how it say... minimum always visible distance independently to light
time_quant = 0.0005 velocity of vision
decrease_value = 0.1 velocity of decrease of "vision bar"
velocity_factor = 0.5 how your movement influence npc vision on you: lowr it is , less your movement influence your detection
luminocity_factor = 0.5 how many light is needed to see you. higher it is, more light is needed to see you.
transparency_threshold = 0.7 how semi-transparent object (ambush) influence npc vision; higher it is, less npc see you
3) alife

switch_distance it is the distance within which npc and mutants will be visible and in alife on mode
(same for danger vision)

Thanks for saving LA for me, with a few other select modders, man! I couldn't stand the bullet sponginess of LA's enemies and some of the other crappy decisions, such as radar-like detection of enemies, even if you're in pitch black darkness hiding in a bush. Kudos to you! :D

I believe many people would be happy if this mod was fully compatible with the PRM weapons pack. More Damage variant is missing some ammo cfg’s such as the 5.7x28mm used by FN five-seven as far as i noticed. Not sure about all the other guns tho.
