This is the first in a storyline of sorts concerning a strangely well coordinated insect invasion deep in Green territory.
You'll be hit hard from the beginning by spiders sneaking their way behind the shed to Green HQ. Fortify that weak point while the airborne division helps hold off the insects elsewhere.
Once you're ready, push out, destroy the insect's lair's, and bring peace back to the backyard!

SETTING
Peace in the Green's Backyard region has been shattered. One section of The Wall has been broken open, and now insects are flooding in! The hostile forces consist mainly of spiders, with a few supporting cockroaches, and they're hitting every green structure out there hard.
Thankfully, the previous commander of this region had a mild case of paranoia and had a Forward Operating Base and several smaller outposts set up as we set out to expand civilian infrastructure. The corps. of engineers did what they could to designate several defensible locations you may build upon if you wish. Unfortunately, contact has been lost with the former commander and engineers. They were last reported to be in the area of the picnic blanket, so exercise caution over there. He, along with the engineers and infantrymen that were accompanying him, were presumably killed in action.
This is where you come in as his replacement. The insects are hitting every green outpost in the area in a strangely well coordinated attack. We need you to rally the troops, push back the attacks, and destroy the insect nests. The civilians have been evacuated aside from some still within the main town, so you only need to worry about our own troops and the enemy. Intelligence is looking into whether the breach in the wall was accidental, or something else.....
In the meantime, the airborne division has sent in helicopters and paratroopers to each location of interest. Good hunting!
