Who wants 64-player maps on a 16-player match? Lets play hide and seek!
This makes so a few non-test hidden maps are available to play on the Multiplayer menus. Most of them were already on the game's files, but 2 of them have been taken from id's old FTP and files, those being:
base64 - The Stroggos Base (Already in the game)
city64 - Courts at War (Already in the game)
sewer64 - The Sewers of Stroggos (Already in the game)
q2ctf4a - Outlands (No bot support, the original version from Quake 2 CTF with the bridge)
q2ctf6 - Borders Canyon
q2ctf7 - Boxed In
q2ctf8 - The Hangar Scenario
match1 - Reckless Abandon (A remake of Quake 1 "The Abandoned Place", no bot support)
It also adds the "Secret" Quake 2 64 Challenge Map - Twists, which was accessible with a password.
Just place the pak in the baseq2 directory, and select the Multiplayer option, then go to Change Settings and they should appear in the mode they are designed for.
DO NOT HOST CROSSPLATFORM GAMES WITH Q2CTF4A,Q2CTF6,Q2CTF7,Q2CTF8 OR MATCH1, CONSOLE PLAYERS CAN'T JOIN CUSTOM MAP SERVERS.
Excellent list! Those were inexplicably missing.
If you intend to update this in a future, can you add the missing Q2CTF maps? q2ctf6, q2ctf7 and q2ctf8.
Gotta find those first, if you direct me, sure.
EDIT: nvm, found them. Added in the 1.2 version.
