After a short while, and of course previously tested and bugfixed, at last here it is the patched version of my HXRTC HUD v7.0, specially designed to be used with Project Brutality addon. This version offers full compatibility with all three available player classes: Project Brutality mode, Classic Brutal Doom mode and Traditional mode. The HUD has been tested with most recent releases of GZDoom & ZDoom, but it should also work with most recent development versions of Zandronum. Check the description below if you need more instructions and details!
IMPORTANT: For showing the HUD correctly, you must set in Display Options a screensize of 11 and turn off the alternative HUD. On the other hand, if you find the size of the HUD is too small, you should open (G)ZDoom/Zandronum console and input the following command:
HUD_SCALE 1
Alternatively, you can also turn on the Stretch Fullscreen HUD option in the (G)ZDoom/Zandronum HUD options menu.
The HUD has been tested and works with most recent releases of GZDoom and ZDoom. Latest alpha release of Zandronum 3.0 should also work with it, but it hasn't been tested. If you have got any problems related to loading the game with HXRTC HUD, I recommend you to get one of the development builds of (G)ZDoom, available on these links:

Not positive if its a bug with the hud but for some reason the super grenade launcher with the 5 or 6 fire modes keeps resetting to the default fire mode at the start or every map.
well is kind of a bug, the thing is that there is an issue in the code that causes troubles when carrying sgl data onto next level, so temporary solution is to reset that data thus on next level sgl mode will always be default one
hi man nice work with the hud, but looking at hud's pics i have a suggestion for pb hud, how about to fill empty space above weapon mode with another small bar that indicates when you are low on ammo on your weapon, it could blink to indicate that, would be a nice touch imo, what you think about it? edit: now that i think about it you could set below weapon icon as well
I'll make some tests, and if everything goes OK, next update of the HUD will include it! ;)
great and here is a small suggestion for this idea a fast blinking color bar would be more of an eyesore and you could put LOW in there to maximize te effect

Hey, Hexereticdoom, are you planning to port the enemy health bar from Project HXRTC to Project Brutality/Brutal Doom? I know, there is Ultimate Doom Visor, but it uses many actors and adds too much visual stuff which really decreases your framerate. Your enemy health bar is simple and informative, showing enemy's name and it's health. If you are not planning to port the enemy health bar because of big bestiary of Project Brutality, could Cotton Disciple do it?

Oh yes, NC HUD... I played Brutal Doom with it some time ago, but I don't remember if it was easy to customize, or if it required lots of editing and ACS coding... :/

Just a heads up that currently the HUD is using the triple minigun sprite in the 'Minigun' folder rather than in 'DeathDealer' from PB's pk3. There are actually two .png file that are named '8GUNA0'.
The main difference between the sprites in the two folder is that in 'Minigun', the triple barrel is accompanied by a green arrow indicator; the one in 'DeathDealer' does not have the indicator.
This causes the sprite indicator in the HUD for the triple barrel to be very tiny.
How can I select item to use and actually use them ? Standard [ and ] keys do not work...
I noticed that the Hitler's Buzzsaw sprite doesn't appear in the middle of his HUD correctly, I compared this with the last 3.3 update of Cotton HUD.

I'm experiencing ammo counter issues when I use Knee Deep in ZDOOM and Brutal DOOM Black Edition 3.0

This is so good. Now I can't play without it, I no longer use the original HUD!
My only comments about this, is that there are still a couple weapons not being read properly, such as TheBarge's sledgehammer; there's no sledgehammer icon when the sledge is selected. The same is true for the Cannon Shotgun. Just minor stuff tho.
On a note, it forces me to load both Unmaker versions into ZDL to get rid of an error message where it will say "Unmaker BeamMode is not a type of inventory item" etc. I tend to avoid the first version of the Unmaker because its beam cripples my entire game down to 1fps on dual or more consecutive shots when alone, and with a single shot if I have enemies around. Though it was giving error messages that pipebombs and satchel charges were not defined weapon types, it led me to check ModDB for these items and eventually stumbled upon, and installed, the awesome UAC Survival Pack. All thanks to those error messages, which are now gone xD
Love this HUD but you should really consider changing "clip" to mag(s)/ammo or something else. A clip is a tiny strip of plastic that temporarily holds ten rounds in a stack so you can set the bottom round on top of your magazine, hold the top edge of the clip with one hand, put your other hand on the topmost round and shove down, loading all ten rounds in one fell swoop and subsequently discarding said clip. They are for speed loading magazines as opposed to inserting one round at a time. Three ten round clips will load one thirty round magazine way faster than manually inserting thirty loose rounds. All military personnel hate this colloquialism (Doomguy included!) because you would never equate the two. If you ask for clips you get clipped ammo, not full magazines. All trained infantrymen scoff and shake their heads when they hear/see this, it is literally one of the first things you're taught when handling firearms (after muzzle always pointed in a safe direction/finger off the trigger/safety on until ready to fire) and they will PT you half to death if they hear or catch you referring to either incorrectly so you never forget. Sorry for the long rant but i feel proper explanation is necessary to spread this knowledge to as many people outside the armed forces as possible. Most would just keep this to themselves and curse someone as a poser instead of educating them nonconfrontationally and that doesn't help anyone. But hey a lot of civilians say it and it has made it into a lot of movies/games but i would argue they didn't have military advisors on staff to correct/explain it and iterate the fact that its not an authentic representation of S.O.P.
