Replaces HDmodels with different armor meshes so factions look more unique.
A lot of the the factions have similar looks to them due to sharing a lot of gear and being reskins. Some of the lighter armor is more visually distinct, but the higher the tiers the more similar they are. This aims to replace the clothing and some of the helmets to keep faction looks from bleeding into each other.
This will not be a standalone mod and aims to be compatible with other reskins. New textures are given new names for other mod authors to retexture. I'm a lot better with meshes than I am with textures.
Philosophy for each faction
- Bandits:
- They use more blue jeans, track suits, and leather jackets under their armor. They have more access to this style of clothing and it fits with their look in the original games (if you discount the adidas striped atlyn helmets they now have).
- Mercs
- Wanted a warmer style jacket for the mercenaries and something with some contrast in collar, so I used a retextured hunting jacket the Loners use. It looks cool and isn't something used by Russia or Ukraine. Overall it gives the Mercenaries a more Western European identity with their gear compared to the ISG or other factions.
- New helmet with texture, retextued jacket for mercs, backpack mesh with existing texture.
- Replaced M17 gasmask with visor or m40, replaced Russian steel helm and xof helmet with British MK6 helm.
- New backpack using existing textures.

- Skat recieves a new chest rig, pouches, and jacket, but keeps the armor. It is stylish and the texture name says spider silk. I just head cannon it as a zone produced suit using spider silk from altered mutants. There was, or is, real life talk about that.

- Berill shows off the British Mk6 Helm.
Future Plans
1.Mercs- removing russian helms and adding a reskined hunting jacket for the very light mercs. Changes to the skat suit and their sunrise suit. Other small tweaks.
2. The rest in a random order with a faction being released as their done.

Fur collared Russian Jacket to replace m65 jacket. Need to get the jacket from a "A" pose to a "T" pose. Current jacket in HD models is like 3.5k vertices.
New pants, CRYRE, with built in knee pads. Got them working, but I need to retexture them and figure out which factions receive them.
Something for civilian scientists.
Exo suit armors. Might use it to replace all or none of the exo armors. Not sure yet.
Freedom. Alice system.
Clear Sky: leg gaiters.

Would it be ok if you would do Loners after Mercenaries?
Some Loners Outfits don't looking S.T.A.L.K.E.R. enough like the Sunrise suit

Yeah but I would like to keep the other Suits and I dont want mess with the Addon
(I'll stay with Sunrise Suit and I will not cheat it with another Suit)
I mainly do kitbashing and importing, so I need existing meshes to accomplish that. Mainly it looks like the lower part of the body armor, the shoulder pads, knee pads, and the helmet itself are off from the vanilla style. But since I don't know of such parts I can't do your request.

Very nice textures. I have a lot more experience on the mesh side of things than textures, so I'm just trying to change the overall shape. As such, I don't think I'll have a use for them. It does look like the bandit hat in the 4th picture needs to have the mesh fixed up. The edges are all sharp like the nosorog. Here is my discord id If you want to message me. where i can find the merc 2 balloon on helm version?
So the mesh shape is included in this mod, but the textures are from KVMA's hd models. I don't include the textures in this mod. I have no idea if these are player models or not.

Need help loading the mod. Unsure what's up but trying to load it with the HDModels mod doesn't work and will cause neither to load on my 1.5.1. Any ideas why? I use JSGME if that helps tell you anything.

Really like the bandit designs but the bandit exoskeleton helmet shows up as blue as if it's missing its texture. I have HD Models installed and loaded before it in MO2, this mod doesn't have any conflicts besides of course HD Models so I'm asking here to see if it's just a problem with the mod itself.
Does this mod no longer work? I used it with modorganizer and I have hd models installed but it doesn't seem to work.
The helmet of the bandit exo shows up as blue even on completely clean install of the game with nothing except HD models on. So I want to ask, is there any chance you could upload a version with the exo model that's on your blog in your profile? The one with plain black helmet and blue tracksuit? This kitbash is really good, but the blue helmet of the bandit exo is quite grating.
