Finally a map of mine that you guys like. Thanks for the compliments, and don't be afraid to share what you don't like about it. As I said it is a fairly early build, so there will be a truckload of improvements on the way. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

New version out. Support for uprising [and incidentally Team Deathmatch] added. Sorry about saying the not-so-final version was final. Let's just pretend this is a patch. :p Uprising works great with this map so I just had to add it even though my story doesn't really make sense with that concept; but hey a map is a map. :)

Not a bad effort at all, I liked how you did the feet of it too hehe :D

And I like how you did the town on the edge of the map. I would try and block off the road to access the area though.
And maybe would have tried to create the sphynx (stupid word to spell ><) with rocks rather than forming it out of the terrain.

All in all, good job, but with some more work, this would be absolutely awesome :D

Thanks for looking. :) I tried to block off the access road initially, but for the era there weren't too many props that I could use for that, and eventually I just decided it would be fine to leave it as is as long as no fault could be seen from that point. I did try the rock sphinx (mainly for the face and shoulders) but with the rocks at my disposal it would have to be really really big to make it look half decent unless I put the sphinx in the background. It was initially quite accurate as it is, but it lost a lot of that when I decided to make it walk-on-able. I know the present state of the sphinx is somewhat of a letdown, but that is about as good as it's going to get with the level on interactivity that it has now. On a side note I am fully aware that the real sphinx and pyramids are made out of limestone; there is just no texture that would take it's place any better than this. Thanks again for looking, I will play around with it some more and maybe have some updates once the competition is over.

Oh and you may not have noticed the player boundary prohibits the player from going down that road.
