Faction Relations Revision addon modifies faction relations in Anomaly 1.5 Beta 3.0 based on original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games.
As I am not entirely satisfied with the way faction relations are handled in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Anomaly, I decided to modify them and release the files as an addon, so that other players might use them.
- Fixes several minor inconsistencies.
- Makes factions friendly toward their own members, just as in all 3 original games. You, the player, start as a rookie who has yet to earn trust. However, well-established members of the faction are a band of true comrades who don't trust each other only slightly more than they do neutral strangers.
- Optional: Renegades are neutral to Ecologists and free stalkers. This is based on S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, serves to differentiate them from bandits, and allows Renegade players far more gameplay opportunities.
- Optional: mercenaries and free stalkers are neutral to each other. This facilitates LTTZ playthrough for mercenary players who don't want to spend all the time wearing a disguise.
- Optional: both aforementioned optional changes in one file.
Pick the variant you want and instal, preferably with JSGME. Good hunting.

renegades being neutral to loners and ecologist makes no sense, they are decribed to be the lowest of the low, so unorganized and brutal that even the "organized crime" represented by the normal bandits dont want anything to do with them
but in the end the problem is that the renegades have no reason to exist to begin with, csky introduced them solely to have an enemy for the faction war tutorial without having to ruin player reputation with the bandits
Like I said in the description, Renegades are neutral to Ecos and Loners in Clear Sky.
The reason why: instead of them being "the worst of the worst", I'd personally interpret them as, well, renegades: outcasts and deserters from the main factions, such as Freedom or Duty. Then, there's not much reason for them to be hostile to scientists or all independent stalkers.
Cool idea, but wouldn't it be better if Renegades would be neutral to Freedom or Mercs instead of Loners?
I wanted to differentiate them from bandits, doing that would make them exactly like bandits xD
Mercs being neutral to Loners doesn't matter, When you play LTTZ at a certain point Mercs and Loners negotiate a ceasefire
Mercs by definition should be neutral to everyone but military and Monolith anyway since they can be hired by anyone in the lore. Not to mention the merc squads act independently of each other. Not all of them were hostile to the player throughout the 3 games.
But then, wouldn't loners also be hunting for contracts from their benefactors and thus make them direct competition to the mercenaries?
It's just an option to make things easier. You may or may not use it, your choice.

Hey Thank you for this. I was really bothered that i could not have Mercs, Loners, and Csky members with me. I mean the mercenaries, are not bandits, so i dont see why they cant handle a Lone stalker being with me as we fight Monolith and Sin in the same areas.
