Choose on your own the parts you like in the DLTX version of Less Items! Less Items removes tons of items from traders/stashes and effectively disables crafting to make it easier to manage your inventory. IMPORTANT: - IF YOU ARE USING THE CRAFTING SYSTEM IN ANOMALY DON'T READ ANY MORE THIS ADDON IS NOT FOR YOU DON'T USE IT.
This is the DLTX version of Less Items. Requires DLTX to work Moddb.com A non-DLTX, non-modular version is available here: Moddb.com
What does this addon do:
- Remove tons of unused/unnecessary items (at least for me).
- Items types removed (all bad ammo/all trash items/a lot of medical items/most of crafting/upgrades items).
- It leaves some repair items like (gun oil/repair/sewing kits...etc).
- It does NOT remove any armor/weapons/weapons attachments
Why I made it:
- To Make it easier for your/my eyes to find what you're looking for at your inventory/trader.
- Spend more time playing the game instead of organizing your inventory.
- For me anomaly's crafting system is not really good/simple and it needs to be reworked (I could be wrong).
GOOD HUNTING STALKERS!

=======================================================================
Tired of needing eagle eyes to find anything in your overcrowded inventory? Feeling like Anomaly has too many different items that do the same thing? Never managed to use crafting and not going to use it in the future? Welcome to the new, more stable, and, as far as I know, bugless version of Less Items, the mod that frees your inventory from constipation by removing a lot of junk!
This DLTX version is built to be modular: all of its parts are effectively stand-alones. You choose what you like! Here's a description of the various modules:
MAIN MOD: This is the main part of the mod. It aims to make inventory management easier and faster and the gameplay more similar to that in the original games.
It effectively disables crafting and workbenches and removes the disassemble option from the menu.
It removes many items that I found unnecessary, like junk, parts, old ammo, upgrade kits and other items that mechanically are just the double of something else.
It makes you start the game with a headlamp, because swapping between the hand-held flashlight and the detector is a chore.
NO TOOLS NEEDED: With this module, all technicians start out with all upgrades unlocked, and you don't have to do the toolkit quests, although you still can if you want to.
PATCH FOR HD MODELS: To make the main mod work with HD models.
PATCH FOR IMPROVED TRAVEL GUIDES FOR RC 19: Again, self-explanatory.
TRADE EDITS: Edits trader inventories to remove the same items removed everywhere else by the main mod. It also makes technicians sell ammo (increasingly better ammo becomes available if you do the tool quests). I consider it part of the main mod and I suggest using it, however many use other trade mods, so the choice is yours.
UNIVERSAL REPAIR KITS: Adds two new repair kits that work respectively on all weapons and all outfits. Compared to normal repair items, these are heavier, very effective, and extremely rare, only found in 1/50 normal and 1/30 rare stashes. They are rare, treasured items with a strong impact.
NEW DROP CONDITIONS: Loot conditions depend on the rank of the dead stalker: they're better if he's more experienced, averaging around 50%. Everyone has his own preferences, and this is how I play with Less Items.

3.1
-- First DLTX version.
Please report any bugs! Or if some quests ask you to find removed items, or any problem, really.
Special thanks to MerelyMezz, who has kindly helped me a lot while converting this mod, and to gostavee, who did the big work releasing the original version of Less Items.

Being a DLXT mod, is supposed to conflict with other mods?
Because the mod manager is saying 2 'character_desc_etcetc' files are conflicting with 'improved travel guides rc19' this is not supposed to happen right?.
There actually is a conflict. DLXT works with .lxt files, but both mods share 2 .xml files gamedata/configs/gameplay/character_desc_escape.xml and character_desk_truck.xml which aren't changed by DLXT.
Anyway, for what I have seen, the problem is minimal, I'm already making a patch.
oh, thank you for your work.
OK, I have uploaded a version with an optional patch. Make sure to load (or install, depending on what mod manager you are using) the patch after the two mods. Let me know if it doesn't work!
We need to start a new game?
Thank you for the mod.
Hi, a new game has the positive effect of removing all unnecessary items that have already spawned, both in stashes and in your inventory. Continuing an old save won't crash the game, but you will still have some junk in the world.
Great mod! It's permanently on my MO list for every playthrough, will not start Anomaly without it! Just some minor queries to ask:
1) Does the disabled items still spawn in stash boxes, traders and in NPCs inventory?
2) Is there a way to limit items carried by NPCs? (they are like walking traders when looting their inventory)
3) If I need to add/remove disabled items, what are the files to edit?
Thanks for this mod, look forward to your reply!
Holy balls, I can actually play anomaly now. Thanks bro. I also don't see the headlamp in the new player menu.
Edit: I figured it out. Been out of stalker for awhile and didn't see the dltx requirement thing.
I made a modification of this mod that restores weapon/armor upgrade drops, and makes the clamp free to use. It also restores some of the item drops for units, but only items that the original mod allows (eg: some food, mutant parts, medkits).
No disrespect intended, I just like having the option of weapon drops. If the author wants me to take it down I will.

Hi, I hadn't seen this comment before. In general, I am completely OK with people doing what they want with my mods. The only reason I uploaded this with MIT license instead of public domain is that it's a remake of an older mod that was originally published with a MIT license, but the MIT license is really vague and leaves a lot of freedom.
This mod has transformed my game, it's really good, thank you!
I'm having an issue however, occasionally when unloading an enemies gun, I will receive bad or old ammo (specifically when unloading in the enemies inventory). Bad ammo appears nowhere else in game, so the mod seems to be working correctly otherwise.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi, the mod should turn old ammo into new when it enters your inventory (this requires unloading the weapon). There is another mod that can be used to simply remove old ammo Moddb.com
oh and you might have overlooked "yadylin" from the "treasure_manager.ltx". the old mod removed it, and it comes up disproportionately in stashes.
Thanks for mentioning it, I'll see that I do something about it, if there will be a new version.

Great mod! Any chance it could be made compatable with this:
WEAPON AND ARMOR REPAIR KITS: Moddb.com
Or rather, any chance this mod could be made with more kits around the world or be sold at traders?
