A Custom Edition Of D4T That Changing Lots Of Things.
this is a standalone mod, just extract it, load it up and play.
A custom edition of D4T based on D4T v2.5 and Crucible/SE version.
adding and changing lots of things that may (or not) enchancing your gameplay.
in other words, i create this because i want it like this.
Changes:
- Changed monsters behaviour, some are (bit) smarter, while other are still dumb or just outright want to rip your face.
- Re-adding others MP Weapons, yes i know dbt said that others MP weapons are too redudant, but more weapons wont hurt anybody (except the demons), nevertheless you can always disable them on options menu if you dont like them, as long as you dont IDFA or IDKFA
- 5 new glorykill, because you cant have enough glorykilling, including special gk for fatso (frag grenade requiered), berserk gk and ssg gk
- Buffing cybie and spidy, with some new attack and more harder to kill. tips? Shoot'em until they die
- And others stuff to be seen aswell
v2.2.2 Update:
- Fixes a fatal error when you die fighting Cybie while still in demon morph.
- Fixes MP Weapons still appears at one way or another in Campaign despite you already turn it off (this time for real)
- Fixes Alternate Player Skins doesnt work at all
- HG Will drop a RocketLauncher instead if you turn off the Reaper (Me and my goldfish memory forget to add it as a replacement before...)
- Reworking the VanillaMonstersSkin Addon to make it more compatible with other skins addon (Some of the stuff must be removed, though. Such as Cybie sight intro)
- Added [redacted]Demon and Mini[Redacted] as a [Redacted]
- Added 4 more GloryKill, including reworking some of the already presents one
- And others that I will not tell it all again... (...because telling all the small change and details will not be very practical, ya know)
v2.2.1 Update:
- Spicing up Plasma Rifle projectile fx
- Fixes Reaper missing ledge grab animation and missing Quad Damage sound
- Reworking the GloryKill mechanic (should be good and less "hit & miss" now...)
- Increased Baron aggro when his health is already half
- Fixes Gauss Cannon Siege Mode causes damage to player when you're too close to the explosion
- HG Now will drop a large Reaper ammo (aka big souls) when he died
- Added another version of Elite (soldiers, marines, whatev you call it) corpse sprites
BFG CELLS v2.2 Update:
- Changed HellGuard behavior
- Making bfg and gauss cannon siege mode more effective againts Cybie
- Plasma Rifle now doing more damage againts shieldguy shield
- Adding 2 Completionist reward:
PowerSurge, Makes the bad dude around you taking damage when the powerup is over
And Double Stagger Time, wich is I think you already know what it does (well... dont you?)
- Increases the distance for performing GK. Despite so, keep in mind that its being make under Zadronum constraint, so sometimes it can still "hit & miss" just like always
- DeathFromAbove Now can only be performed when you doing double jump instead. (So it will be not too... Goofy, when you're just 1 cm away from the ground)
- Added weapon intro for the main weapons (not the MP one). Can be canceled at any time by firing it or selecting other weapon. (Very very VERY simplified. As I only using whats available to me, so dont ask "why this is like this instead of like that")
- And of course like always, I wouldnt spoil the rest...

Though, there's some small issue on those engine, most of those issue are messed up FX
(unless i dont notice other issue aswell, and hopefully its not nasty one...)

Note:
I dont own any of the asset i used in this custom edition, most are taken without permission (sorry, because i dont know how to contact the person), maybe a lines of code and unnecessary edited sprites.
so yeah this custom edition might breaking many rules
Also, If you want to use others monsters sprites from others D4T addon, just loads this file in orders:
> the 1st are the main base mods
> 2nd the D4T Vanilla monsters addon, wich is i already included in the package
> and then the monsters skins from others D4T addon.
This custom edition might not suitable with others D4T addon (that arent monster skin). So be mind of that.
bro, the mod is incredible, I would say too good, although it does not look like EOA, it has nothing to envy to this one, thanks to you I can have almost all the gameplay experience of DOOM (2016), I have been playing for a while and I adore it, it feels very good, but not everything in this comment is good XD, sorry, but I have found one thing that is somewhat annoying in my opinion but passable and it is the attack speed of the enemies, they seem to attack like if the fast monsters option was activated and sometimes it's even hard for me to pass zones on maps with many monsters because of this, and it's on the difficulty hurt me plenty XD, but otherwise I haven't found any bugs, so good worked.

Already tried hurt me plenty difficulty on different map, og doom 1 and 2, schythe 2, btsx & sigil, pretty much fair to me as long as you keep your distance, though i might lowered the difficulty a bit on next update if its really that hard and others having this same problem too
Don't worry, I just tried the other game modes and I think it's fine (mobile game xD) I played with the mobile difficulty and it went well, I think it was because I directly tried the standard difficulties for PC
Pretty nice upgrade to the original, my only gripe is that
all the time I get a ms spike even if there are not enemies around, my guess is that some kind of script is running over and over again making the experience not so smooth as One Expects.
This happened even on map 1 of Doom II, my ms are at 3 then theres suddenly a spike of 10-14 ms with a little stutter, which is annoying.
I wonder what is causing it?

This addon is awesome! Could you replace monsters with D4V monsters sprites and change the scores background? If you have permissions from the D4V modder.
well if they somehow really did giving me the permission, i will port it not for this version only, but also for vanilla D4T and crucible aswell.

Can you increase distance at which you can perform glory kill? I always start too early and just quick melee enemies.
Also it seems that assault rifle freezes when you press alt. fire with no mods equipped.
I disable the repeater and it continues to appear even though I have disabled it

Another minor update

I don't why but Upscale pack don't work propably with this version
Chainsaw and rocket launcher will get too big and BFG will get too small
Also the pistol charge shot sprite is a bit glitchy with Upscale pack
unfortunetaly, there's nothing i can do about it. the addon are more suitable for vanilla D4T and Crucible/SE version, while this version are bit different from those two. so ofcourse it'll be glitchy.
i probably will not updating this version furthermore, as most of the stuff that i always wanted in D4T already there.
so unless it's related to nasty bugs stuff, i will cease for now.

hey bro, could you make a command or addon to get the weapon upgrades?, I have played the mod several times and whenever I finish each game of this I only get 1 or 2 weapon improvements and sometimes weapons that I don't even use during the whole game, could you do that? I would really appreciate it
Same suggestion! I played with your mod, RXTended, and the upgrades are very scarce. You usually end up with 2, max 3 weapon upgrades thorought entire campaign (9 levels). Would be awesome if you could make it so they are much more common so in the end you have like 4 or 5 weapons fully upgraded to take on last level.
Another thing, Reaper, Hellshot and all other weapons keep appearing despite them being turned off in the options.
Also awesome mod! I'm really enjoying it, completed many wads and campaigns already with it :)

new (not so major) update.
I just played this and its pretty good. Although I do think the game's damage system is a little unbalanced. The armor you get is practically useless because of how weak it is at protecting against incoming projectiles. It might as well not even be there at all. The glory kills are good but its a bit annoying how close you have to be just to pull it off. The shield men are also very overpowered, they block all damage and nothing short of an explosive can actually bring them down or getting up close with a chainsaw but that sometimes is suicide. Even a plasma-gun isn't very effective when it was very effective in the original 2016 campaign. The damage for the pinkies is lopsided in favor of the shotgun as well. I can't even stun a specter pinky even when I unload hundreds of plasma bolts into them. In terms of difficulty, it can feel unfair at times. I also wish the sound for the SSG was different from 2016's trash kicker sound effect. It is what it is though. But overall I find it quite enjoyable.

Well, yes, but actually no. I indeed want to added it before, but after a second though, I rather not.
So its just can be said as a random stuff that I forget to delete.
Thanks for the mod. There is one thing about D4T that has always bothered me and i wish i could mod it myself if knew how to do so. Could you please rework, improve or simply remove the redundant completion bonuses?
Like for example "full ammo" or "fully loaded chainsaw", these feel like a waste of time for all that effort and not an upgrade at all.
There is also the "triple jump" that i think it's wrong since in classic Doom you're not even supposed to do a single jump.
I am seeing an update on this, whats new in the latest release?

So i tested it out, it works fine but two monsters get a bit weird.
hell knight because he doesn't have extra sprites, so he keeps changing depending on what he does, and Arachnotron with his projectiles coming out below him(craneo arachnotron sprite has the turret located above).
Its nothing serious, i changed some decorate and deleted some sprites so these monsters use the most fitting ones.
