This game data loadout alerted me to among other things the Real money mod where you can convert some of that virtual rubles to CASH for STASH as another way to make muggings less painful if not save skimming or modding it.

One thing though, what happened to the MINIMAP in the upper left hand corner? I'd like to play this, what files do I need to restore to get the Minimap back?

The missing minimap is a function of DrX CotZ 1.2 and does not involve this gamedata folder upload (apologies to Zealot_K). Somehow I reactivated the minimap and forgot that I did it, likley with THS mod:

Figured out how to do it for this GameData fldr upload and posting the procedure for others to use:

To Bring back the mini map:

X:\MyInstallPath\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of The Zone\gamedata\configs\ui\zone_map.xml

go to
zone_map.xml

I suggest pasting these lines into that file replacing the first two lines found there which enables the minimap and reminds you that visibility of the minimap is toggled by using x="-1" :

Also, in the lower right hand corner of the UI, are not weapons and other items taken up supposed to be displayed there?
Nothing is appearing, neither the weapon nor the amount of ammo.

Also when I get shot /bleeding, a huge image appears on my screen
How can that be removed? usually there are things going on and I cannot see anything because of the huge bleed Icon.

Regarding the bleeding bug, i had this one, but it got fixed. I checked and it's fine. But i'll check later, this day, to see where it comes from.

Edit : in the meantime, you may try to use this "ui" folder in "configs" and tell me if this fixes some of the problems : Easyupload.io

in the meantime I found the problem to be confined to these two files: maingame.xml and ui_actor_hint_wnd.xml

\gamedataconfigs\ui\maingame.xml Weapon/health UI elements Disappear
\gamedata\configs\ui\textures_descr\
ui_actor_hint_wnd.xml MISALIGNED text and icons on lower right health and wpn status bars

Removing maingame.xml and ui_actor_hint_wnd.xml as well as removing gamedata\textures\ui\ui_actor_hint_wnd.dds seems to solve the problem (defaults to DocX original);
but as I indicated, I'm going to try your file you just posted! Thanks

OK I discovered what the problem is (occurs with your new ui upload posted in the link, but no more bleed massive icon bug)

The screen RESOLUTION must be at least 1280 x 720 or higher else the elements do not line up or disappear. Once that resolution or higher, then YES the UI matches up with the screen shots.

When are the portraits supposed to appear?

Glad to hear that you fixed it. It's true, i had forgotten the resolution thing. What do you mean about the portraits ? They appear if you activate the extended hud feature in the options.

Just a heads up for the author and players: the generic CoC Outfit Marauder addon will occasionally crash CotZ because of some missing armor types. I posted a patched CotZ-compatible addon that resolves these crashes.

To the author: if you corrected those crashes before you added the addon to your pack, please let me know so I can edit this message.

I like your pack. There are a few CotZ packs out now, and they are so different in approach and concept they're pretty much entirely different games. Thanks for sharing.

Oh yes, my bad ! I made a mistake with the link in the description. The outfit marauder i used is the one you posted, not the original for CoC. I just added the exo-helmet the the script. I modified the description and added the stuff that i forgot to mention (among them, two more addons that you posted).

You did actually remove that crash, sorry I was not clear about why I was downloading the new version (I had an earlier one which had the problem file!)

BtW what removes the glare from the screens of the artifact detectors? Im trying to look for artifacts but the radiation keeps glaring out the screen on the detector and I cannot see anything.

Also how does one go and re-enable the Geiger click noise if in a radiation field?

EDIT figured it out
Remove Radiation white out
When you enter a radiation field there is a cool "white out" effect.
This works well if you do not want the Geiger counter noise when encountering a radiation zone.

However if you are trying to use a detector in a radiation anomaly and the screen washes out, you cannot use that detector's screen to find an artifact:

go to ....\configs\zones\zone_field_radioactive.ltx
open zone_field_radioactive.ltx
comment out
; postprocess = postprocess_rad

This file has been added as an option the ManGun Fix download here

Return of Geiger counter sounds for Radiation zones
go to....\gamedata\sounds\detectors\ remove all the geiger.ogg files.

Once you are high level enough to "eat radiation for breakfast", you can return back those files to quiet the Geiger alerts again.

Did you do the food pricing or is it from one of the incorporated mods?

I'm looking at the zone (mutant) food and reworking it:

Cooked mutant food should have more food value than uncooked
8 food value on dogmeat then cooked only 2-3 food value?
(because once you get an artifact that removes rads, why cook?
Eat yo dogmeat RAW!
Of course the food nutrient value is from DocX so not sure what he had in mind with those numbers )

Cooked mutant food should be priced no more than 2x-3x cost of uncooked
(because with current prices on cooked mutant food you can become rich running your own barbecue at $$1000+ a serving!)

I like it that it is MUCH harder to get rich gunrunning in this mod.
Forces one to use the lower level guns and use the armorer for THEM.

Important note : These addons are only for those who downloaded the main archive BEFORE MAY 13, since they are now included in said archive.
ADDON 1 - with this addon, you will have a chance to loot the Mark&recall; artifact on monolith bodies. Sak and Rabbit also sell it. If you play as a monolith, you spawn with it : Drive.google.com / ADDON 2 - this addon is an adaptation of Unique Items Restorationby iSsueS. It adds several lore-friendly special weapons (i personnaly modified some textures).The special weapons are only sold by Owl (Skadovsk). However, he does not sell the TROPHY AKM-47/2 (which is a powerful rifle). You can get it randomly by completing tasks for Trapper or by killing some high-rank stalkers : Drive.google.com

This is very strange, i'm playing with the gamedata i uploaded and the knife is fine. Maybe it's a problem with the base installation. I'll check. In the meantime, you can try this "fix" : Drive.google.com

Hello, i just uploaded the new version of the pack. I returned to the original knife from Call of The Zone, so everything should be fine, now.
The pack has to be installed on a clean CoTZ 1.2.

I alternate between this gamedata pack and a couple of others,

I must say overall this is a good repack. Not using an items overhaul mod together with expensive stuff and repairs makes the existing items all that more precious and useful.

I also like what you did with placing "press any key to play" lowering it so it is out of the window and easier to see above the loading progress bar,
...and also, messages at the top of the screen such as game saved etc, (so they are not lost underneath companion portraits) what files did you alter, where and also to make the fonts(typesize) bigger and easier to see? That should be a standard DocX fix.

The midnight mutants, for example, are also very engaging; at night its creepy to see them starting to come in, suddenly there is a psudogiant lumbering across the horizon or maybe bloodsuckers milling about (yes, I adjusted the /configs/atmosfear_options.ltx opt_night_brightness = bright (3 settings: slight [which is pitch black]medium [slightly less pitch black] bright[I can SEE something]), you may wish to offer dynamic mutants out on its own, it is a very unique and interesting mod.

Hello, actually i'm not using medic expansion, but i saw that it comes from lines of dialogs that are in Rhon's NPC expansion, that i'm using. You have to delete these lines in the gameplay folder.

Definitely the Medic Expansion Mod. Either he’s using an older version with unfixed crashes or he didn’t properly merge it with Immersive Fast Travel in this modpack.

Actually, some lines of dialog about health can be found in the base folder of "Rhons_NPC_Variant_Expansion_CotZ.5". I'm not using the Medic Expansion Mod.

Found a bug with Veles detector; visited 3 different anomalies that were busting with artefacts judging by the sounds arts make whey move around the anomaly, but Veles won't detect anything and thats straight after blowout I visited these 2 fairly large anomaly fields, I played alot of vanilla CoTZ and know that Veles always picks up at least one art at these zones after a blowout.

Also save and reload as detected but not found artifacts can sometimes be "below ground."
On the reload they should appear again where you can actually get at them.

Someone else told me to drop a grenade as that can cause the missing artifact to appear, but I never tried that.

This mod pack is dead? Already? Ah what a shame, at least before leaving the author could fix the broken Veles detector that won't display any artefacts, or at least tell what lines in the detector config to change that would fix the bug.
