Brutal Pack V1 (Installation)
-Choose your version: GZ Doom or Zandronum.
-Then just Load the mod and you're all set!
*READ ONLY FOR ZANDRONUM*
(Zandronum sadly doesn't seem to support custom bobbing. So I had to remove it for Zandronum for now.)
(An alternative would be: Open console (~) , then type: movebob 0.02 or whatever your comfortable with)

Overall, I think it's a good sound mod if you're looking for something with more punch to it. The assault rifle sounded like a machine gun to me. XD But that's okay, it fits the gun well. Loud, punchy, and something to be feared.
The shotgun is good. Though in my personal opinion, could've been more explosive in blast. Especially if it will completely evaporate the torso of anything that gets in front of it.
Chaingun was good.
plasma sounds was good.

Thanks for that! Yeah, I'll definitely be updating it soon. If anything, I already messed around with it and changed a couple of sounds. I also added some different shotgun shell drop sounds. I'll try to make the shotgun more explosive! ;)

Explosives sounds from Half Life are good IMO but implement more variations of them, I can hear only one of them if I am correct. And remadeing of assault rifle slightly will be good idea, it is sounds too much like SMG as mentioned above. Overal, nice work.

-The Assault Rifle, as mentioned above, yeah, it's not much... But it definitely works. I think a replacement here would be nice.
-The Shotgun and SSG are ******* badass! Nice job on those 2 :)
-The Minigun does not have too many changes but it is definitely an improvement.
-The Plasma Gun sounds were good. I would like to see more on that one ;)
Don't forget to update your add-on at anytime. Just hit the "Pen" in the right corner and upload the new version. No need for a re-upload ;)

Only problem I see so far with the new version is that the new assault rifle sound is too long and gets cut off when reloading. It just doesn't sound right. :/
I agree..... Its bothering me too!!! :P . The SSG does it as well when you fire one shell at a time. I'll see if I can find a shorter sound or maybe shorten the sound it has. The original sounds had it as well, its just because mine are louder its more obvious. I wonder if there's a way to just have it not cut off at all without having to change the sounds :?

With the exception of the issues mentioned to be fixed. In my personal opinion, you hit it right on the money with this version. The shotgun sounds powerful and adds to the ragdoll effect.

i cant get it work with BrutalD v20 i use GZdoom and Zandronum both last ver and test ver or alpha ver i dont know what to do
Make sure to select the Sound Mod first and then Brutal Doom, it could be that Brutal Doom is overriding the sound mod. Are you also running any other wads with it? It sadly doesn't work too well with some custom wads.

V3 is another step in the right direction.
High quality sound, well timed, fits the "personality" of the guns well. Great work as usual, my hats off to Quaker for helping as well. He did a good job with the explosions.

Okay, so! I was going to replace the Rifle/Shotgun/SSG/Rocket Launcher sounds so the sound does not clip, but for some reason V20 ignores my changes completely. This did not happen with V19, this only happens with V20 and I cannot understand why :/ I'm afraid I either have to upload the whole V20 file with my changes or nothing.

I also will add that the sound effects for the rifle especially reminds me of another gun. The heavy bolter from the Warhammer 40k games. Don't know it was intentional or not, but it was awesome! :D

You mentioned that this sound mod may not work with certain wads or packs. Don't know if you can fix that or not.
Some mods just don't mix without giving up some quality in my opinion.
Christ, these gun sound effects are meatier than a finely cut steak. You did a FANTASTIC job of making Brutal Doom's sound effects louder and even more satisfying than the original, especially with the new rifle sounds. I love it :D

I keep getting this after every launch:

Sorry to be picky, but doesn't that make it harder to be compatible with other sound mods that people are using? For example, I have sound mods for PSFSFX and doom 64 sounds. And I can't get the new sounds from all three packs without overwriting some things that I'd still like to have.
All good! It seems to work fine with other sound mods. I'm using the Footstep sounds, Danny Glover Taunts, Metal V4/Doom 64 music and it seems to all run fine. Just make sure you select all the custom music or sounds before the mod and it should work fine.
I still have sounds that are getting overwritten. If I put the mod after the d64 and PSX sound fx, adn it's overwriting some of the monster and menu sounds. When I put it before the two sound mods, they overwrite some of your sounds, like the assault rifle.
The main reason its like this now is because the only way to fix the sound cutting on the Rifle and DBS was to do it this way. But if you need me to upload the file separate I could PM you it, it just might have the sound cuts in it. Let me know if you have any issues.
I've never actually noticed the sound cuts personally, so that'd be fine if it's not too much trouble.

Sorry for late reply, but I figured it out! Its because you're dragging the mod with Brutal Doom. The sound mod already comes with Brutal Doom in it, so all you have to do is drag the Sound Mod in, no need to drag Brutal Doom afterwards. :D
Yea I figured out the issue thanks to the power that be of google. Evidently other people had the same issue and this was before your add on, so basically it was on my end (usually is :P) and I was able to get around it. Basically in a nutshell had to reconfigure some autoloads in the config file. Works now. Thank you for the response though I always appreciate authors that help me when I have an issue.
Really dig the sounds also BTW. As a shotgun ***** for the doom series it's annoyance to me when the shotgun sounds...light. Needs to have weight in it's blast which is provided (as well as other sounds) in this mod.

I'm using Doomrunner. And even when I load it with nothing else it still gives me that same script error blood_amount already exists
