When testing this mod with installed Boomsticks and Sharpsticks 26-Jan-2021_RC23 rifle Barret M98B ( Bravo) has no sound at all shots and reloads of the magazine?
I am playing Your mod with enhanced recoil effects option for Anomaly 1.5.1, it works just fine - You can REALLY feel the ordnance have kick and that's a bonus for me. Since it's WIP, I disabled JSRS because it got updated - can't wait for compability patch and next version of this masterpiece of reanimation!
Remington700 has a wrong silenced version bolt sound.
It uses M24 bolt cocking sound instead of the L96 or Remington700/bolt sound. Basically the sound does not match the animation when cocking a bullet in the chamber (not reload, just the **** action)
Anyone have an idea where I might be going wrong after updating from the previous version of the reanimation pack and this patch? I had a quick look after not hearing a reload sound for one of the 9x39mm weapons and saw that the new weapon_sounds.ltx found in this patch is calling for various *_reload_empty and *_unjam sounds that I do not have after installing JSRS+Reanimation+this patch.
With this patch, cannot hear any NPC gunfire. Seems to be fine without the patch. I don't know what this patch actually does, so guess I'll run without it.
e: I'm thinking it's an issue with installing through JSGME, since no one else has the issue.
Is there a way to fix some guns(Fort-500, SVD) having no cocking sound, with JSRS they have them, but as soon as i overwrite that with the JSRS patch, they lose them
Hello Blindxside, thanks again for such wonderful addon! as you may have noticed, Solarint updated his addon (JSRS) to include low spec versions of the gun sounds in the addon, which are incompatible with this current version of the patch, maybe, when he finishes tailoring his low spec version, can you make a proper patch for it? thanks in advance.
Hey there! For any of my official releases, I will not be patching or updating anything until release of the Military pack. So no intermediate hotfixes. HOWEVER, Solarint seems to have made a patch himself here:
i dont have any sound for my ak74 when an empty reload occurs, AND when i do a normal reload with rounds in the mag there is a random cocking sound that isnt supposed to be there

The patch right above yours is supposed to make BaS weapons use JSRS "shot" sounds while keeping their original BaS "action" sounds (i.e. reload, empty mag, jam etc.)
That's why I'm using it, the issue is that your patch overwrites the "weapon_sounds.ltx" file from it.

Yes, it does have an affect. Quite a useful upgrade to have if the recoil is a problem for you.

should be:

What order, JSRS>Reanimation>Compatability Patch? Or Reanimation>JSRS>Compatability Patch?
EDIT: The second way makes both work.
EDIT 2: It seems to make the dry reloads use the sounds of the tactical reloads in said second configuration, any ways to fix that?
EDIT 3: It seems that I am a class A shithead and was using an empty folder as my compatibility patch, it works great now.
it's JSRS > Blindside's Anims > JSRS Compatibility Patch. Possible that one of your addons is causing that issue. Which weapons is it happening with?
Every gun that does not have differing chamber full/chamber empty reloads in the base game but does in this mod is affected.

i Got this error after a crash:
"! Invalid ogg-comment version, file: d:/games/anomaly\gamedata\sounds\weapons\_gunfire\stereo\svt40\close_1.ogg"
Had same error but without a crash, saw it in console.

This mod replaces the Gewehr 43 reload sound with the SVT40 sound
Probably cuz vanilla Anomaly G43 shares sounds of SVT-40.

This patch is meant to be used with JSRS if you are using my reanimation pack.
The SR3M and the 9A-91 don't have reload sounds when ammo is ZERO (0).
This can easily be fixed in the weapon_sounds.ltx file by removing the 2nd "_empty" from
"snd_reload_empty = weapons\9a91\9a91_reload_empty"
so it looks like
"snd_reload_empty = weapons\9a91\9a91_reload"
Same for the SR3M rifle. ([wpn_vihr_sounds]:wpn_val_sounds)
There may be more errors but I have not found anymore yet.
