if i had about 3 terabyte's (thats about 3000 gigs?) i would probably have filled that all with games and mods (a shitload of mods ofcourse XP) if i didnt have a 3 year old piece of **** im typing this from, i might have more games, and then i mean a SHITload more of games! and mods....
It looks like he has (/had?) his own project going on, Crimson Crys or something like that, ModDB isn't just for downloading, although I must admit I was wondering the same when I red his comment.
I suffer the same problem in that I don't have many games that the mods are for, but I haven't been very active recently. Maybe once I get a new video card I'll download a ton of stuff and burn my eyes out.
There aren't enough actual complete mods to qualify for over 20+ a year. (Especially since they've come out in a steady stream and I've been getting the big ones steadily.)
Well, unless you just came on to the modding scene and own several big titles.
I pick what looks hot and give it a whirl. usually ends up being south of 20 in a year, probably even < 10 , being honest. but that depends on the quality of what I see :)
I'm very, very picky. I usually let the mod fill up on comments and see whether or not there's the more-than-acceptable number of complaints of bugs and such.
I used to play tons back in the day (the day being, early Half-life 1). Mods just don't release all that much anymore, but I don't pass many up when they do.
I deleted my all mods in december 2007 (for just 5 games =20gbs), with my new years resolution being not to download any more..................didnt work :p
Modding is expressionist art.I'll try anything that's in my range of interest and has some reasonable effort and skill applied.I've been exploring at least 40 to 50 this year alone.
I probably should download & play them more, maybe thats why I cant continuously mod :P
i filled up 500 gigs with mods :P
me to!
ps: Patches are a b!tch
oh yea its a BIG pain in the *** updating all of them

I don't often play that many. Mostly because I don't have many games the mods are for.
So for me, stand alone FTW!
FAIL
Not really games are games.
He doesn't start up a game and wanted it to feel new but he likes to beat noobs with his good strats or headshot skills.
May I ask why you are on MOD db then? I am just a tad confused on this...

Uhh, yeah, why you're on MODDB then if you're not playing games, or just playing games, and don't mod/patch your games?
Simple question.. -.-
i got the original half life theres loadsa mods for that i gota try
I've got Half-Life 1 and 2, so I've entered the gateway to many mods.

At least you have Homeworld!
I hardly play any mods at all tbh. Most of my time is taken up working or modding, so I don't get a chance to play mods, or games
I think the A-Lot should also have '/Not entirely sure'
Since it depends what mods your interested in.
I just don't have the space on my comp. I download more indie games than mods.

I download alot but I after playing through it for a while I normally uninstall I only play about 5 mods constantly
I download a few "big mods" (or total conversions) a year, but I download several little mods a month.

I downloaded really great mods like Shockwave,Deathball,Remix,All starz....
20-50 xD
Diff for each year, 2007 alot, maybe 100, dont know...
but over 50!
Theres only like 2-6 good mods actually out there -_-
I'm very, very picky. I usually let the mod fill up on comments and see whether or not there's the more-than-acceptable number of complaints of bugs and such.
OH ****! i forgot about oblivion mods that would easily put me in the 20-50 range
Once a mode gets awesome screenshots, I'm in.
Note to self: "get teh awesome screenshots" :D
Between Battlefield 2, Oblivion and Half-life 2 I must have downloaded at least 150 mods last year.
I try hundreds of mods but only ever save my top 10 favourites on my computer.
I also try hundreds of mods seeing as I'm a mod developer and I own bf2 bf2142 oblivion hl2 hl1 and garrys mod 10 all enourmous for mods.
i meorized were to put my mods. i mod too much.
A lot... though its less now then some years back due to less good mods being released now
I used to play tons back in the day (the day being, early Half-life 1). Mods just don't release all that much anymore, but I don't pass many up when they do.
I play them and then pass :).
I'm only downloading mods for cnc generals zh, so there are no 50 new mods a year that I can download:(
but I like the most mods I see :D
I try to find as many as possible! So far about 150 gigs of HD space. Looks like I need 150 to go! Then I'll need to buy meh another hard drive XD
ich play every single mod I am able to, at least every hl2 mod. And then hl, battlefielt 2, etc. so quite a lot
Depends on what kind of mods. I download small mods for Oblivion on a daily basis. I usually download 1 or 2 Total Conversion mods a year.
I can't get enough of mods! i download ANY that catch my eye!
I deleted my all mods in december 2007 (for just 5 games =20gbs), with my new years resolution being not to download any more..................didnt work :p
Mod's rule...now if only there were more Halo mods. :-(
alot... just alot :o...
I am a MOD-AHOLIC
i only get like 1-10 a year cause there hardly any mods that get released
I download them ALL.
Modding is expressionist art.I'll try anything that's in my range of interest and has some reasonable effort and skill applied.I've been exploring at least 40 to 50 this year alone.
a lot/I'm an avid mod player.
All this depends of the year...
not many... 6-10 because i am a console gamer :D
