HL2 mods are building momentum, what is your fav?

Sorry but who is responsible for that ridiculous mod choice? I dont care if our mod is not listed but me as a mod leader I should at least know all of the hl2 mods but I dont! :)

And I dont think Dod Source should run in competition with non comercial mods

is DOD source a mod? and does that mean CSS is a mod as well?

Hl2 is a mod as well obviously

CS was a mod for HL1 and went commercial, and CSS is the source version of it, so it's not exactly a "mod" well.... it's proffesionaly made thats why, the same is with Day of Defeat...

Dystopia for sure, once people started gettin the hang of the objectives the public servers became really enjoyable to play on.

Can't wait for that SDK fix to get back to playing.

If Counterstrike had never come onto the scene, Half Life as both a game and an engine would never have been even REMOTELY as popular as it is today.

CS grabbed the average fella by the balls and made him play online games, even if that "usually wasn't his thing".

But we all knew that, right?

Well, cs kept the juices flowing, but you cant ignore the multiple awards that Half-Life recieved.

Yes, but without CS and DOD, halflife would never have had the longevity it has, and I doubt that HL2 would have been as 'popular' as it is.

Sure, I'm not denying that HL was a great game, but how many people still play vanilla HL?

I go for BG2, I am completely unbiased when it comes to that mod, and am definetly not on the team :)

Garrys Mod is cooler than any other mod on the face of the planet! I'm sorry, I don't know why you put the other mods there, Garrys Mod is king of the universe! In fact you should just scratch this whole website and dedicate it wholy and completely to Garrys Mod! Yeah! :)! ! !!!

We are mod of the month for crying out loud. Look to your right (for only 2 more days :D) and you will see it, click the links. Play the mod. We regularly even have mor players than Sourceforts.

Sorry for the oduble post..but Garry's mod is a clever tech demo. TEchnically its a mod, but i think the context of mod that people like to use actually refers to Total Conversion, EI, one with gameplay. Look up the definition of a game and you find that it is an evironment where a player has to react to cause and effect laws based upon a set of rules. Garry's mod has none. Its clever, dont get me wrong, but it doesnt belong here.
