Happy with the Mod of the Year Results?

Not exactly what I wanted, lol mostly because not all the ones I wanted to win did.

I think it was all more on the mods publciity rather then quality. The better known mods got the awards, weither they deserved it or not. And some of them didn't.

I agree with dEaThMaStEr, it's sad but true :(.

Was anti-n00b protection as far as I know, but you can tell from the results that it didn't get rigged in anyway.

Alright i spose, everyones opions always differ so there's no way to get a heap of votes in and have the results end up pleasing all those who voted.

I think a best mod for each game would be a fairer system, as mods for more popular games simply exclipsed mods for less popular ones, whether the mods were better or not.

In the end, to each their own opinion

Maybe more ranged genre awards would be good, and perhaps even sort of a restriction of what mods you could vote for a certain award.

I'm quite glad you guys changed the Best Sports Mod award, though. Stopping that from happening again is what I had in mind for the change :) Not to mention, some filler for the mods without enough votes to fill all three spots of each award. Some rather unknown mods will work based off of the opinions of the mods/admins ;)

well... not a blast the results. some winners i was like 'wtf?!'. the results seemed like stated before more to be of popularity nature than quality nature. i've seen a couple of places where the second or third was better than 1 but this is normal.

but this sports-mod mixup was rather poor. donno what went wrong there.

Alright I suppose, tbh I didn't care who won, I just went for the whole event/radio thing, because its enjoyable to listen to and be on the IRC channel at the same time :D

Good atmosphere of the "WTF's!" and the "YEAH's!!!" :D

My thaughts, it should of had a best mod for each game, and 4 different winners for those games, best Total Conversion, best Mini Mod, Best New Total Conversion, and Best New Mini Mod

I like the result. My expectations where low, and the result where high. So.. I am happy. Thats the first so this will grown.

tht wud be goos.. then u can find out both where u cam e and such things as top HL2 mod etc etc u can work out anything .. Surely theres a print off..

Why were no role playing mods nominated? There are plenty here at moddb...
