I'm sorry to hear you have stopped with the Aki Warfare mod :(
I hope that you will make a another mod for C&C Generals: ZH because I liked the whole idea of the Japanese factions and all.
BTW: could you please send me a PM when you start to make a mod for a C&C game?
Didn't see your comment until now, so sorry. (I posted it in my Personal Comments and in your Personal COmments)
1.) When I started using Gmax, I didn't know much. But I learned the average tank is about 2x2 squares. Import the Battlemaster to see which way to point the unit as well. Eventually you will get it.
2.)Go to your Utilities Tab (The hammer) then go to W3d tools, and scroll down and hit "Export with std Mtls". Place in your ZH Folder in the Art/W3d/ folder (or create one). If you know how to add it into the graphics code, then you should be okay.
If you need any more help, PM me, i see PM's easier than Personal Comments ; )
I have several questions for you regarding modeling.
1) How do you know the correct dimensions for the models, and polygons, etc to use when modding?
2) How do you put the models into the game?
I am asking you this because I'm still learning the ropes here, but I can make things like buildings and such. I was just wondering how you are able to fit the buildings, scale them, the correct polygons, etc. I use 3dsmax and gmax currently. Your help would be much appreciated.
