I work for the mod "Witcher Kings" with last update of this mod : 0.11.0
Here are some small works of my project for example :
- The Thyssen, var Emreis, de Lyria, de Rivia, Dezmoden, Radowidow, Edinorog (Viduking), Baldwining, Skellig clans ETC families have rediscovered their origins (Viduka for Edinorog for example)
- The great historical events like the rebellion of Falka, Night of the knives and the torches, the war of Emblonia, war of 6 and 7 years, war of hunger, Nilfgaardian Usurper ETC are now "in the World of mod"
- I corrected the many date errors in the title histories- Geralt has his coat of arms and even a "son" (for my personal story for play with house "of the White Wolf" don't worry he won't be in the mod)Note : the coat of arms was adapted to the mod by the talented "Annou".
-I have corrected a HUGE number of details to make the dates of such an event match the dates of such a King for example.
- There are many other things but I am waiting to see if that interests you because the details of the modifications would be VERY long.

More events is what this mod needs.
I don't really know, we have too many events and this makes the game buggy for a long time (slavery event for example).
I do not master the events and I am alone. My priority was to make this mod a real the witcher mod, there were so many errors and absences that it was not really complete.
The team to do a great job it must be said, I just fill in the gaps even if it's difficult when there are realms missing hahah.
The mod will never die if I’m around I just haven’t had time to work on it a lot because of my job, I’ve recently had more of a break and less hours so I’m planning on trying to help in any way I can. Romulien still steadily makes the mod compatible with the latest patches, on GitHub he’s made it compatible with 3.33 and also added some fixes. With these changes implemented the mod would be so much better. I’ll try and get some more help with the mod if I can I recently had someone ask to help with it as well so I’ll talk to him and try to get him more in tune with what’s going on, I just wished you could get your GitHub to work lol
OK Good news ! J'aime quand même ce Romulien discret ahah. But the Spartaneros sub-mod is a different project for now. I want to change that ahah.

Very nice. Can you remove Dijskra's Family? He was supposed to be a new man, without aristocratic background, and from what I remember unmarried. Unless, of course, he lied to Geralt. And voivode Bronibor from Temeria died in the battle of Brenna, few years before the games start, but he is (was?)
alive in the mod. Also what is Queen's Meve family now? House of Lyria? And is her dead husband in game?
- For Sigi : I can not unfortunately, I have already studied his case. He has children and they must be of the father's dynasty. I gave his title of Count to his eldest son. If I change the father's dynasty then there will be a "bug". I can't do two sigismund either so I haven't kept the "Sigi Reuven" for now at least (yes he has children).
- For Bronibor, is dead, yes in brenna. don't worry, I already made this change too. If you have other ideas, don't hesitate! I corrected a lot of things but I probably missed things.
- For Lyrian-Rivian families : It's a big sub-project that I made for them but it's still incomplete (I still have to do the Traitor Caldwell and his family). For now, I have made the origins of the two families (descendant of the Ravens of Cintra). I also created two families (with new coat of arms) to mark the "egalitarian" union of the two kingdoms (it is still in test but I add a photo of my idea if you want, look. Reginald is dead in 1259 so yes :).

I'm sure players always want more about the Witcher world, especially with Netflix series around.
I have no news of a CK3 mod, so this ck2 mod is still the best Witcher world simulation that exists out there. And with CK2 base game being free to play, it's 100% free.

This article is just to get you up to speed. It's not finished yet (especially since I have to remove my "personal whims" as Geralt's son before posting haha). I already wanted to see if this motivates a little or not and especially to show that the mod is not dead yet haha :). Having said that, I might need some testers someday.

Don't let your fantastic work go to waste. Even if the number of people who still want the witcher CK2 experience is relatively small, it's still worth it to release the submod given how much you've already done. But honestly, given that there are a few hundred views and a few comments already, the fanbase is not dead.
Many people go for CK3, but not many of them throw CK2 away. There is still much time and DLCs left before CK3 will be as feature complete as CK2 is now. For this reason, I didn't even buy the third game yet.
I think that you should go for it. You did good work, it would be a shame if people don't get to see it. But that is your decision, and I'll respect it either way.
When will it be published someday? I do not know. Honestly I don't think most will see what I've done even in the game. Most aren't too familiar with the universe and won't see "1008" new characters or the thousands more that I've changed. Not to mention the new dynasties and history of titles etc.
I thank you for your words, it's nice! I will publish this one day because I do not intend to put myself in CK3 haha (I like to manage all the dynasties of the game to prevent them from extinguishing and in the 3 it is impossible). But I'm not sure the mod works with the latest version of the game. There are some basic mod bugs that I can't fix yet. So for now, it has to wait. Thanks again for your words! :)

Basically, I only build a submod, the update must be done "legally" by the official project manager whom I respect and I am not. Unfortunately, I don't have the skills but I want to find people to help me :).

I'm working alone for the moment so what I'm proposing is only a personal project, I don't know where the others are and unfortunately no one informs me ... . To my knowledge there is no new version yet but I hope to merge my submod with the next version of the witcher mod!

For me ck3 will never be as good as the 2 which is very different in the way it is played

You realize I managed this mod for years, right? Jonstryker will always be the official owner but he kind of passed it down to me then Romulien, we both OK'd it and are ready for you to release it. It's basically all waiting on you!
