Damn it. I just installed 1.2 yesterday. Just came back to the mod page to find a faction that I would want to play. Well I guess it's time to do it again.

Feel free to play around in V1.2 for a little bit so you can see how it is and then switch to V2.0 so you can really see the difference in versions.

gondor campaign is pretty buggy.a few settlements wont recruit troops(all settlements south of minus tirith) which is just cancer when youre trying to fend off attacks from mordor. plus there needs some tweeking in the stats of gondor ive lost with 2 full stack armies surrounding a 1/2 stack mordor army with a decisive defeat on like turn 10....

You can recruit with Gondor you just need to build the meeting hall/town hall building (don't remember the exact name) first and then it allows you to recruit units.

Don't rush out immediately thinking your Gondor militia will be able to outmatch hordes of orcs easily. Take your time and focus on specific targets.

Does this work on the later windows 10 patches? I cant get the earlier versions to run without rolling back the updates but would this version get around that?

What happened to Imladris riders?

Also, if you accept a guild in Ost-in-edhil, can you still get the gwaith-i-mirdain?

If you don't see Imladris riders then they were removed.

I don't know the answer to the second question, test it out yourself (make a backup save before you choose to accept the guild).

Great, Thanks:) Loved the previous version and look forward to get stuck into this. Did you happen to change the intro movies for some factions with 2.1? The Dunedain had the same intro of Bree when loaded it up compared to the previous version when the Dunedain are defending Amon Sul. Not a issue though just curious more than anything:P

I am pretty sure we haven't done anything with the intros. It would take us a lot of time to re-create intros so we just use the Third Age ones as we've always have from my understand and focus our time on improving all other aspects of the DaC campaign.

Not an expert by any means, but if this mod is for 3rd age, which is now unplayable, does that make this mod nonfunctional as well?
Or is it compatible with 3rd age reforged as well?
Or does it fix 3rd age?
Or is it a standalone download?
Sorry if one or more of those is a stupid question, but I've been looking for a playable lotr campaign forever so I'd be thrilled to get this to work.

Third Age is still playable. It's just not updated anymore.

DaC is a sub-mod of Third Age which means you need to have Third Age installed and then you can install DaC into the Third Age folder to then be able to play DaC.

DaC is up-to-date and continues to be worked on by a dedicated team. It's very stable and has made a lot of significant improvements compared to Third Age.
