I will consider every unit idea, and maybe put them into game. I have uploaded many troop-trees earlier, please, if you have a good idea, try to find a place for it in the troop-tree of that nation. Please leave comment like this:"Hi! (etc etc)My suggestion: Gondorian Footman. (melee spear infantry, medium armor, helmet, large shield) upgrade from Gondor Militia, and from this unit, you could upgrade White City Spearman and WC Swordsman, etc
(so somehow like this)
Unit SUGGESTIONS
Hi guys! For austrian singers: hi gays! :D If you have some cool UNIT suggestions (and only units, troops, lords, NPCs) please let me know.

Rohan Royal Guard, comes from Rohan Rider. Has Heavy chain armour, decorated and plumed helmet, cape, round shield, spear, and cavalry sword.
Already in game, but they're called Rohan Eorls (and Eorlsons)
How can i recruit Rhun Troops sir ?
Easter Kataphrakt (Comes from Easterling Rider) Has war horse, heavy armour, helmet, shield, lance, and curved sword. Would be the best cavalry of the Easterlings.
Easter is a holiday, Rhun Cataphract is a golden royal horseman in the game ALREADY
Where can i recruit rhun troops ?
How about more factions, just do a little research and all you need to do is to put them on the map.
Mirkwood faction:
T1:Mirkwood Elf
T2A1:Mirkwood Archer /T2S1:Mirkwood Spearman
T3A2:Mirkwood Ranger /T3S2:Mirkwood Pikeman
T4A3:Mirkwood Sentiel/T4A3R1:Mirkwood Royal Archer/T4S3:Mirkwood Guardsman
T5A4R1:Thranduil's Royal Archers /T5S4:Thranduil's Bodyguard
yeah, that's good, but what kind of weapons does the Mirkwood Guardsman have?
both! Sword and bow
You could also make Rhun a faction, and Harad a faction, you can look at Third Age Total War's map for the regions and the units.
This is for Rhun
I=Infantry
R=Ranged
C=Cavalry
Some of these units are from TATW
T1: Rhuunic Clansmen
T2I1:Rhunnic Warriors/T2A1:Clan Hunters/T2C1:Rhunnic Horsemen
T3I2:Clan Guard/T3A2:Clan Crossbowmen/T3C2:Clan Horseguard
T4I3:Loke Gamp Rim/T4I4:Loke Flag Rim/T4A3:Loke Nar Rim/T4C3:Loke Nar Rim
Thanks, I know TATW well enough....

The swords the Mirkwood Elves carry are 1/2 handed, depending on if it is paired with a shield. When it's paired with a shield, they also have a spear. Then there are the Archers, armed with a longbow, and sword. This is all based on the Mirkwood royal army. There's also the Mirkwood palace guards that have similar equipment with the exception of their armor which much more regal. I have a great deal of images showcasing the different gear and equipment that the mirkwood elves use in the Hobbit trilogy if you would like them.
Is the balrog already a unit? i cant remember
I don't think so.

Mirkwood Palace Guard (high tier)
Dwarf Grim Hammers (high tier)
Lake town guardsmen (low tier)
Goblin town goblin warriors (low tier)
Hey, the mod is perfect! I was wondering if you will be adding like a Goblin faction or anything more? Also about the custom battles, do you think it would be possible to remake the maps so that (for example) the oasis level could look more like Osgiliath or the castles would look more like Minas Tirith or something? I know this would be a timely project but I just wanted to know how you stand with this. Keep up the amazing work!
How do you recruit Easterlings and Harad guys into your party because i cant seem to find out how
Prisoners.
id suggest doubling the amount of factions, your factions are good, although isengard I feel should be called the white hand but anyways faction ideas I have are rivendell elves and mirkwood elves, Mirkwoodd would be slightly more archer spearman while the rivendell would be more towards Calvary and archery. Then there's the men of Gondor and Rohan, (pretty sure they are already available) then there are the evil hillmen which would be a kingdom subjugated by mordor and the white hand which would have a limited tree of mostly infantry looteresk people and less effective archers but higher morale in general, the iron hill dwarves would be uniquely Calvary infantry with dain at the helm, Calvary would be Rams or boars if possible. The shire would be the counter part to the hillmen being the subdued good kingdom ruled over by men and elves, mostly rock throwers wrestlers and infantry, ask about individual stuff that interests you and I'll explain these point in detail I don't have much room
so, building on that
Factions
'evil
White hand - You've already made your tree, I am content
`Mordor - same
`Easterlings/Rhun - Rhun could have stronger calvary upgrading to the oliphaunts possibly. but have much weaker infantry than the Harad.
`Harad? - Similar to the Rhun faction, but strong infantry softer calvary
`Hillmen - Hillmen would be a faction that would be a weaker, 'Absorbable faction' as in it is subdued by the mordorian forces and kind of does whatever they tell them to, but are still their own people, they would have no calvary or very few units of calvary and have a stunted army in ways of persuasion, but be able to hold more troops maybe to compensate?.
T1- I1 Hill folk, no armor, Very lootery A1 stone throwers, very rocky, no armor
T2 I2 Hill clubbers, leather armor of the weakest quality and clubs A2 Slingers, some armor, still throwing rocks but now with a knife as back up and no sheilds
Final tier would have a light to medium armored guy for infantry and archery, with shields, I1 would hold swords and rocks as back up. A1 would have spears/javelins and would gain possibly medium head body prtection. C1 would be off of either and be called something like cheiftain and depending on his specialty early on he would be focused more on archer or melee combat. he would be medium armored completely
'good
`mirkwood elves - as he said more infantry and archery based less calvary
`rivendell elves - as he said more calvary archery based less infantry, also both Rivendel and Mirkwood would be variants off of the Elven kingdom
`Iron hill Dwarves - Dwarven kingdom
`Gondor - same
`Rohan - same
`Shirefolk - closely resembling the hillmen a subdued good race that follows the other kingdoms orders.
the point of hillmen and shirefolk is to have content people who only go to war by being attacked or by defending their allies as well as having a feidomy feeling kingdom idk who leaders could be.
I think that you should include the Silvan elves from the hobbit. Including Silvan recruit, Silvan hunter, Silvan archer, Silvan swordsman, Silvan sentry, Silvan marksman, Silvan golden archer, Silvan golden warrior, Silvan royal guard and Silvan royal archers
There already are some Silvan troops.
Here is my suggestion: I dont't really know how do they actually look alike but you have tip in Middle-Earth:Shadow of Mordor. Well in that case, Im speaking of Black Numenorians. Since they have been only mentioned in books, we really don't have clues about their appearance. 2nd suggestion are the free folk (Dunlendings, Army of dead, Outcasts...). Or in general try your luck in other LOTR video games (e.g. War in North, Shadow of Mordor, Battle for Middle-Earth...)
My favourite troops are: Rivendell Lancers, Mirkwood rangers (Lotr:TbME2)
How about Mumakil archers. Same thing as the rider but instead of... well... I'm not even sure what a Mumakil Rider does, I've only ever seen a Mumakil just running around being a meat shielf. But it would be great if you had Mumakil Riders, and slots for Mumakil Archers. For example:
1 Mumakil Rider = 6 slots for Mumakil Archers.
And when a slot is filled, the Mumakil Archer could be up in the tent-saddle-thing (I don't know the name of it) until all slots are full. If there are more archers than slots then they could be on the ground. Just a cool idea.
I think its complicated to implament such thing into that game but it would be kinda cool to see mumakil's in the mod
can you make thorin and the other drawfs companions or are you just keeping to one time period
How about Gundabad orcs faction? and Dale faction? Also Arnor faction since the Elven Kingdom is really big? like the capital of Arnor is Bree or something?

Npcs: thorin bilbon bombur bofur kili fili dori nori etc
great job on this mod it looks really good but i have a few questions, do you plan on making sauron an elf instead of an orc? maybe the ''yes my lady'' whenever you talk to an orc... the mumakil suks and so does the fell beast but i like how you managed to get them into the game. 1 HUGE request, GIVE ELVES MORE HAIR STYLES PLEAAASE!!
Maybe add more factions that work under the main ones, ex. men of the east but they only work for mordor not fight them, and same for hobbits and other side factions so you can stop the ''good'' factions from fighting each other. and goblins would make a really fun faction/race to play as. I hope you take some of this into consideration and good work:D

NPC: Khamûl the easterling with armor, like we can see in the the third hobbit
For the idea:https://www.moddb.com/mods/battles-of-the-third-age/images/khamul-the-easterling
I would love to see a heavily armoured infantry unit called a 'Headhunter'. Fast moving, carrying a balanced two-hander & crossbow. Every enemy he kills is decapitated or dismembered. Then a 'Headhunter' knight. Same thing on horseback.
Swan knights
elite Gondor heavy cavalry
heavy two-handed sword, shield, lance, blue armor and horse
-----------------------------------
Thorins Guard
Elite dwarf heavy infantry
short sword, double-handed axe and shield
-----------------------------------------------
Balrog
its quite self-explanatory
-----------------------------------------------
just a joke
Hobbit
light infantry
Pipe and tobacco, badass grammar and grumpy morning mood =)
-------------------------------------------------
So a little late to the party but i personally would love more Arnorian troops, for instance Arnor pikes, Spearmen, Arnor Heavy Archers (normal archers would have the chainmail armour and Heavy would have the arnor plate armour), Dunedain swordsmen and finally Arnor Hobbit archer. Thank you
Hello, you could create in the Goblin faction, Azog :p
Rhun should get crossbowman
Goblin Archers
Snaga from TATW
MOre Dale and maybe Dorwinion units
