So, a lot of you have probably already seen me around the forums. For those of you that haven't, hello! My name is Mitch and I've taken up the mantle of mod leader!
So, those of you forum old timers have undoubtedly seen your fair share of mod leaders come and go. You've seen your fair share of false starts, and misleading claims at progress. I'll venture so far as to bet that seeing this thread prompted more than one eye roll, followed by "Not another leader... Release the dang game already!"
Well, please bear with me. I'm dedicated to making this work, no matter what has to happen. I want to see a Master Sword: Source release as badly as anyone.
That said, here's the game plan. I promise to throw down some release dates, and soon. I'm currently coordinating behind the scenes, preparing a task list, and trying to get a feel for where we stand completion wise. Unlike previous mod leaders, I don't plan on releasing what should amount to an internal alpha to the public. This may upset some of you, but please understand this is for the greater good of the mod. Any extra wait will guarantee a higher quality and quantity of polished work once a public release is finally made.
TL;DR version: Howdy folks, I'm the new mod leader! There won't be an "alpha" release. The extra wait will translate into a better beta once it's released. Regardless, there will be a tentative release date for a public beta set fairly soon once the dust settles.
