Faction Description
For some nations, war is a death sentence; for others, it is a chance at redemption. For centuries, others have picked away at our Empire like vultures at a carcass, and Spain had been powerless to stop it. But perhaps now is the time to reverse our fortunes for good. With the French army and British navy distracted by Germany, our greatest threats are suddenly far away. And should the Italians be drawn into this conflict as well, we may yet recover our Mediterranean empire! But perhaps neutrality is the best course at the moment. The rest of Europe will tear themselves apart in this conflict, giving us extra time to rebuild our forces. By the grace of God and King Alfonso, may Spain return to her place in the sun!
This event will have 3 stages, know as the "Three Challenges". The first challenge actually happens in the first part of 1916 and is known as the "Juntas de Defensa" which will debuff the military. The second challenge which starts in the summer of 1917 is called the "Parliamentary Assembly" and will effect the economy. The third challenge is a general strike that effects the entire country.

Why does the Guardia Civil only have 80 men? And are they a normal militia unit like the Segunda Reserva, that can be recruited? And why do they have more range?
They are a professional Gendarmerie; they are used to maintain order and improve moral. All the rest can be answered with "still in development", as is the unit description (same for the Legion).

Congratulations on this extremely good work! Nonetheless, the Spanish national flag on the campaign map is wrong: that is our current flag (since 1981).

I've said it multiple times now, but you don't seem to notice. The flag is not historically accurate, the coat of arms on it was adapted in 1981. You should use this one

We know. We don't have a flag maker in the team currently. I tried to fix it but it didn't work. This will likely be fixed with a post 6.0 patch along with several other flags.
My favorite unit was the Cazadores, they still in? Also never read that tooltip about dismounting your general to thwart artillery, does that really work?
