Here's is an edited version of the Sven Co-op 3.0 feature list which shows the major changes over the last version, the full list is far too long to show here, to see it look HERE. There are still some secret features not listed here, including the new weapons.
- Opposing Force Grunts added, including Torch (explodes when fuel canisters damaged), Medic (heals players and allied humans), SAW, and Normal grunt types. Friendly and Hostile versions of each type are available.
- Free Roaming option for mappers
- Monsters can roam a level that has info_nodes
- Friendly monsters can follow players with the +USE key
- New commands for friendly monsters:
- npc_return (immediately return to the player)
- npc_findcover (stop and find cover from enemy)
- npc_attackmytarget (target under player's crosshairs becomes new enemy)
- Global and per-entity sound replacement added.
- Classification choices added for monsters (Example: Zombies and Assassins can be on the same team.)
- Env_fog added
- Monsters may get launched into the air by explosions on death (if not gibbed)
- A huge number of AI changes, including node graph improvements for better monster navigation and vastly improved non-node graph navigation.
- Five crash bugs fixed.
