It became a long period of silence over the last weeks and months, high time to eventually break this up and show some fresh material.
So what has been done? Works on the A.I. are currently in progress, and even with the engine holding on to put obstacles on the way, the A.I. is close to an acceptable state. Moreover the last two Peacekeeper units of the first release got implemented and as announced this update will deal with them and point out their functions.
Equipped with a shotgun as primary weapon and a backpack full of useful things the Engineers are the maintainers of a solidly working troop. Though mainly armed for defensive purpose, the shotgun can do significant damage at low range, which makes the Engineer a good support on assaulting particularly suppressed forces. More important however are his passive abilities like the possibility to deploy and clear anti tank mines on the battlefield, or the essential function of this unit, the mending and maintenance of vehicles. Be sure to get an Engineer with your forces to keep them running longer.
This advanced US M270 forms the Peacekeepers' mobile artillery support and is the hell of a base killer if you can assist it with a good recon. The standard armament contains six long range ballistic missiles. Furthermore the Thunderstorm is able to fire a cluster missile which detonates at a certain height above the target and releases a bunch of warheads to cause a wider area damage. The moderate armor guarantees this unit a comparative high speed and maneuverablity for a tracked vehicle, but on the downside implies the need of permanent protection, since there is no additional close range weapon available.
The following weeks should provide some more material, stay tuned!
