MASS EFFECT REBORN - STATE OF THE MOD
Hello everyone ! The mod release date is going to be delayed. Before criticism or arguments on this, we want to explain why we have to do it. First, Thitest have too much exams during February-March. He can't work on Mass Effect Reborn and on his exams. But the state of the mod is great! There is a lot of progress. During this month, you will be able to watch a gameplay video and a gameplay trailer will be released on the next month.
What we want to do before the release ?
We want to add the following races Asari (Already Added), Turians (Already Added), Alliance (Already Added), Cerberus (Already Added), Geth (Already Added), Quarians (Not added yet), Reapers (Already Added).
Also, we want to create great mass effect maps.
We want to create & finish the hyperspace system.
We also want to create a launcher with update possibilities.
There is also a lot of ships we want to add, a lot of weapons, an AI, a research system, change the ships scale for more realism, change ships price...
Some models will be added to our moddb page during this month. It's including the ships already added in the mod like the Reaper ships, Alliance cruisers...
About the new release date, it will be about this summer, we supposed.

what about the Salarians and Rachni?
Homeworld2 accept only 6 races. There is no way to have more than 6 races, and in order to create 6 races, we have to force the game.
It's like the Star Trek Continuum Mod, they can't do more than 2 races cause of the scripts.
I think the Homeworld universe mod crew worked out/obtained off someone else a way to get past that. They have a ridiculous amount of playable races. Moddb.com
I have already discuss with the mod creator of this mod and tell us that we can take his race script. Nervermind, i have to find the scripts for this because he didn't remember :/

A delay in release, you guys always do this. Multiple times with the Stargate mod, if you can't meet your deadline then don't set one. Saying "SOON" is better than pushing back deadlines.
Be rude or anything like these won't help us seriously. We were working on it, we were certain that it was possible, then the school system suprises us with exams. Especially for Thitest and his economies lessons.
take whatever time you need, the mod will be great anyway
Ya know, this is something people do in their free time because they:
A) Enjoy it
B) Want you to as well
If it takes them a little longer than planned to finish something I find it's okay because, *emphasis* they aren't charging me for anything.
Take the time you need to make it right, I'll still be here to enjoy it when you do.
i mean I'm all for the idea of delayed is better than a rushed and horrible product, so I can some what support the idea of putting things off to fine tune them a bit, but.... I always thought one of the advantages of being indie devs/mod teams were being able to provide more updates, even if they were somewhat rougher and not as fine-tuned. Still, since a mod-member has RL stuff coming up, I can completely understand, and wish you guys the best, and hope to see it come out whenever it does.
