In the Weekly Updates we talk about what we finished and what we're working on, this, will be a full description of those works. Every few days (it depends on the time, we could post everyday in certain periods) we'll introduce a new elements of the gameplay or interesting feature, that is already finished or will soon be. This - as idea. If you guys like that kind of posts, we'll dedicate more time on them.

Let's start with the fighting and medical systems.
As we totally reworked the balance to a realistic level, the fighting changed because of the realistic damage and ballistics while the medications need now more time and equipment.

Everything depends on: the weapon and it's condition, the type of bullets and the armor had by your target, mainly. A damaged weapon is not only less reliable, but also less "useful". After cleaning your gun with a pretty cheap kit, it can become more reliable, so you'll be able to shoot without much problems, but it won't be that precise. The characteristics go down depending on what kind of problems/damage the weapon had.

The type of bullets are important when you fight with different enemies. A mutant needs expansive ammunition to be killed, a player, with a good armor, won't be deadly damaged by standard bullets, you'll kill him faster with Armor Piercing bullets.

To medicate yourself you all need cover and some time. Different wounds need different medications. Sometimes you'll need only a few bandages to stop the bleeding, but if your condition is really bad, a bandage won't do anything as you'll need medikits and expensive medicinals.

These, are the main features for those two elements of the gameplay. Let us know in the comments what do you think about, should we continue, or concentrate on other things.

In the next Feature posts we'll talk about: factions, stashes, armors and much more. Wait for the Week Update soon.

Everytime I check ModDB I expect something from you. The development goes really nice as far as I can see and I trust you with making a great mod. Take care and best luck in the future! May is near and so is the release date, can't wait to play it.

These sound nice, though I was expecting just a more multiplayer/co-op friendly mod, not a realism mod

Will there be an option to just play the standard Call of Pripyat story in co-op without all these gameplay mechanics changes? They sound really cool and they will make the multiplayer a lot more interesting, no doubt about it, but I'd prefer to play the story in co-op without them

Seconding this. Perhaps people running servers will be able to modify relevant parameters to their own liking?

I agree, being able to play with the resources you want from any mod or none at all would be one of the best things about ROH once its released. I really hope you guys can manage this!
