Hi all,

It's been an exciting few weeks for the team here and the community as a whole. As most of you know, we have released a new stop-gap patch for both Steam and disc players (v1.1.5.1) in prep for this year's long awaited v1.2 content update.

Steam users can now download the mod via Steam Workshop. This includes the latest v1.1.5.1 patch.

Disc users can download the patch via ModDB.

Although we will be supporting both Steam and disc versions of the game, we do recommend players play via the Steam client as it now supports proper online multiplayer and also includes a number of bug fixes outlined by Petroglyph here.

As mentioned previously, we're still on track to release RaW v1.2 in 2017.

We'll be following up with more details on the release schedule as we get closer to the launch date.

Hey, guys. I installed previous version manually on my Steam version of the game. Should I completely remove it in case of using Workshop?

Do you know why the Steam Workshop download causes so many troubles?

I ask since your mod is not the only one which crashes or doesn't load.

Is the Steam version of RAW safe to use with other mods, or does it cause the same AI issues?

I'm glad to see this mod is still a project being worked on. Republic at War is still one of the best RTS experiences I've ever had and probably ranks up there with Republic Commandos and Battlefront II for best Clone Wars era game on the market. I can't wait for V1.2

And here I thought this was just another abandoned ModDB project with great premise. Can't wait!

Hi, it is very hard to play it skrimish vs ai. I started with 10k credits several times but have no any chance to win space skrimish battle vs "easy" ai of this mod. I've tried to change DifficultyAdjustments xml file (stay around x1 multiplier in Easy section), but it does not help. It's very sadly. The best mod i have ever seen , but i cant play to it.
Start with max credits and total early rush helps to win a battle...but there is no fun for me. I like to win slowly, to have a more tactics, to have a more space control and to have a time for camera using..etc.
Can you do some patch for current version of mod? Just for some people like me and do some dificult changes. Couse now i have to play other mod for skrimish.(Clone Wars for example). Thanks.

Will this fix the blatant AI cheating, like pulling credits out of nowhere and skipping past planets to attack you? Also will the Lucrehulks be balanced lol? Either that or the Venators really need an upgrade.

Huge fan of the mod, is there any way Mac users could ever play it on their Computers?
