Explore what will be added in the 1st patch for Rise of the Republic 1.1. Some new elite units and new historical characters will be added (I just say 'vive l'Empereur'). Furthermore Imperial Splendour Team is glad to tell you that in the upcoming patch the campaign bug will finally be fixed.

At first I want to appologise from the annoying campaign crash. The good news is, I found the bug and fixed it so the campaign will be stable again. There were just 2 entries in the AI tables in the startpos.esf wrong and this caused the AI searching in a Region for an army where the army was not. This caused the R 6025 runtime error.

Furthermore I corrected all uncorrect textures which were reported in the hope that all have been found. I addition GB and France can now recruit tradeships and the US can now expand their ports and plantages.

In addition the enddate for the 6 done factions have been fixed to 1803.

Special thanks to MAIAN and Switz for many hours of testing and helping me find the bug!

In addition I did a bit more than just fixing bugs, I though that I give you a bit more. The result are 2 new elite units and many new historical characters.

US Marines:

42nd Regiment (Britain) the Black Watch:

the Black Watch

New historical characters:

Note that you can recruit characters only at their 20th bithday! So as example Wellesley and Napoléon are only recruitable in the year 1789 and not before. If you try to recruit them before that date the portraits will not be correct. In general I tried to create a sequence in which you can recruit all characters with their correct portrait but this can not be guaranteed!
