Finally Requiem War has registered on ModDB.
We did not register further, because we had no actual website, just a forum (which featured, and features images of almost every ship in RW).
Requiem War isn't as new as it's profile on ModDB, it started development since almost 2 years now...
It is the Homeworld 1 mod for HW2, recreating HW1's races (even the Kadeshi and Turanic Raiders) to be played in HW2 multiplayer. We also plan remaking HW1's wonderful single player campaign. The main feature of RW is that the ships are all accurately remodeled on a higher detail level.

Although Requiem War itself hasn't been released yet, it features 2 released subsections: The Kadeshi minimod, and the Taiidan cruiser minimod. You can download both from our homepage. The first adds HW1's Kadeshi race to the selectable races, featuring all their ships You've seen in HW1 missions. The second is an expanding collection of future (post HW1) Taiidan designs, made in the HW1 fashion. Currently it features 2 new cruisers: The Qwaar-Jet II class, and the Vanaar-Jet class.
