Hey everyone,
We are proud to say that Recruits is now on Steam's Greenlight program.
Steam Greenlight is a new system that enlists the community's help in picking some of the next games to be released on Steam. Developers post information, screenshots, and videos for their game and seek a critical mass of community support in order to get selected for distribution. Steam Greenlight also helps developers get feedback from potential customers and start creating an active community around their game as early in the development process as they like.
If you haven't already, head over to the game page on Desura to preorder and support Recruits, giving you instant access to the latest alpha version of the game that includes all the features we have been showing.
Make sure to join our forums and chat with us, the developers.
Head over to our new company site - Commotion Games - where we will be posting information about the Development of Recruits.
If you like Recruits, don't forget to like, subscribe and follow us on the links below.
Just dropped you guys a like over on Greenlight. Best of luck to all of you!
All Recruits should report for duty and do the same! I did. Best of luck!
Well said :) My like is now your like. Our likes are now forever intertwined.. I lay down my like for you.
Hezuz has been promoted to Corporal!
Dropped you guys a like on green light!
Wish you guys the best :D
Thanks guys! Really appreciate it!
vote for you!
Just voted, good luck :D
Yay, I want Recruits on steam!
good luck! :)
I must say I'm pretty disappointed that the moderators of this site hide one news post with greenlight and allow others. Seems that so long as the game is made available on desura, special consideration is given to allow posts containing info about a competing site.
You deserve success on this guys!
My personal opinion: I don't like steam...at all. I am disappointed to see you going over to the dark side. Oh well you win some and you lose some. Best of luck to you.
Fair enough, but Steam isn't all bad. It's just more exposure for Recruits, to make it a better game for you to play. You will always be able to play on Desura :)
There's nothing wrong with Steam, I've used them for years and never had any grief. There's certainly nothing wrong with a Dev exposing themselves (ohh err!) to multiple sales platforms. I would have thought Steam was by far the largest and most lucrative
Voted for you on Greenlight, good luck!
