I finally got my hands on 4.55 PS4 and tested Blue Shift mod on it: elevator bug prevented any further in-game progress and FPS trick wasn't working.
So I tried to find more reliable fix for PS2 and PS4. I found out that making scientists non-solid resolves the problem.
Here you can see some gameplay footage (recorded on PS4):

Changelog:
- New elevator fix, so memory card swap is no longer needed and elevator sequence is working properly on PS4 now.

Known bugs:
- HUGE framerate drops
- Semi-random crashes (freezes)
- Saves are not working on some chapters
- Dr. Rosenberg would be swapped from normal to Decay HD model and then back to normal (not really a bug, this is how the game works)
- Scientists inside elevator are non-solid (you can walk through them)
- Elevator can still drain some HP

1) SAVES ARE STILL BROKEN IN SOME AREAS:
- DO NOT SAVE ON "INSECURITY" CHAPTER UNTIL YOU REACH THE ELEVATOR (you would spawn out of bounds)
- DO NOT SAVE ON TELEPORTER LEVELS (you would spawn out of bounds)
- DO NOT SAVE ON "POWER STRUGGLE" CHAPTER (saves would work there, but when you return to teleporter you would be unable to progress further)

2) SAVE GAME TO THE MEMORY CARD ON THE BEGINNING OF EVERY NEW CHAPTER (except those that listed above) AS GAME CAN FREEZE SOMETIMES SO YOU WOULD NOT NEED TO RESTART TOO FAR
