The Engines of War Project, a DOTA-esque RTS game, has been place on hold since the departure of several of the coders has halted the development of the game. The project can not resume without the dedication of the coders.

The project's content is about 90% done, but there is still a lot of work left to be done. The majority of this work, just to get the game into a playable state, is with lua coding and gui. If anyone is interested in helping with the project (mainly lua coding) the project could possibly resume in the coming months.
Contact me for details.

The original EoW game was coop project headed by Sean and I, but the project was based from Sean's concept. He was the coder and I was the content creator. After Sean took a break from the project another lua coder known as Skystar joined the project, but after many months without communication or work we can only assume that he is no long able to help with the project.

The EoW Project was brainchild of Sean and could have died with his absence, but I thought it would have been a shame since there was a lot of work put into the game, so I asked for help to keep the project alive. But once again we are in the same situation, where the progression of the game is rather limited on the time and skills of the remaining staff. It is not within my own power to finish the game (mainly because I am a very poor coder and work more with content creation), so the EoW Project will remain as a possibility but will not be finished solely by myself.

Always a shame to see a promising project go on hold. Hope you are able to get some more team members.
