Progress Update 7 + Important Announcement news

Hello everyone! It's been almost a year since the last progress update and there's a lot of new stuff to show you.

Like usual i'll start with progress i've made on the maps.

I've extended the hospital just a little bit.

Improved stuff.

Trees

Significantly improved cafe and bar.

Church has a bell tower now! (Made by The Skeleton)

Graveyard with better graves and some trees.

Added a light in underground section. (W.I.P)

Updated school in second london map.

Cafeteria

Teacher's quarters.

Principal's room.

Changed the layout of the map to make it a bit less empty looking.

These houses are now here. Prefab buildings that were previously here have been removed.

These two have changed places as well.

Updated this backyard. Bloody pool. Really struggled to find the right looking blood water.

Changed this house a bit. Removed drum kit.

Here's a house from hl2 beta.

Now for a whole new map. London3.

Red cross train made to help victims of the infection. Based on a deleted scene from the movie.

Now for some models.

Speaking of models, we have a new modeler in our team. Introducing "Finger".

Also tried adding a helmeted version of all the soldiers but something wrong in the code (The model is fine).

That's all for the models now.

And now for the important announcement.

So as you can see i did not release the demo of the mod on the 1st of november like i promised. And i am sorry for letting you down. I know you guys have been waiting for this.

The reason is that both time and motivation for working on this mod are low right now. I've been focusing on music lately a lot more and i go to a music school. Then i also have normal school. Now i won't make excuses. I could have finished the demo if i would have worked on the mod just a bit more but i decided to focus on other stuff. So yeah the development of the mod will be drastically slowed down. The mod will not be cancelled, don't worry. But it will take time for me to finish this. And i mean multiple years.

Like usual, i've made a video of the mod's progress.

Thanks a lot to all the support and patience. I will finish the demo as soon as possible. Oh and happy late halloween!
